"Ideal location / great value"
Great location, within 10 blocks of just about everything midtown, 1 block from Grand Central. The hotel was always quiet, the room and bed comfotable. Fridge and coffee maker in room ideal. Staff were all wonderful. Great value for the heart of Manhatten.

"TUSCANY NOT THE COURT"
We were happy to be moved to the TUSCANY on check in - which is a neighboring hotel (same block) owned by the same company. It wasn't a big inconvenience - but it was a little unusual. The TUSCANY (can't speak for THE COURT) had a modern lobby, friendly staff and was obviously renovated fairly recently. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable with a big chair and ottoman and a big chaise in addition to a king sized bed and plenty of dresser and closet space. The bath was fully modernized with a great walk in shower (no tub). Large screen TV - great location near Grand Central - several eateries in Murray Hill and the New York Library main branch and Bryant Park. Will definitely return!

"Nice Hotel Parking cost 60$ overnight"
Nice hotel unfortunately the staff never told me that the parking garage "for the customers" was not included with the price. I always stay at Hiltons, the room was nice but the parking was 60$ for my regular size Silverado 2015 truck per night.

"Nice central hotel - only one area for improvement"
This is our third visit at the Morgan. It is in Chelsea, a very nice neighborhood and walking distance to pretty much all the major sights. The rooms are actually more spacious than for instance the more expensive 60 Thompson, but the bathrooms are still tiny, but that's NYC. There is no room service or restaurant but free continental breakfast is served at Reserve which is a nice lounge area. We don't mind the fact there is no restaurant. One major improvement would be customer service. During my first visit, the woman with short bleach hair acted as if I was staying at the Paris Ritz Carlton. I just rolled my eyes (Girl please!). The last two visit, the reception was courteous but you never felt they were welcoming. They never asked whether we stayed there before. And when I asked whether the hotel had other rooms available, I did not dare asking for a higher floor or an upgrade. They say 10% of customer is new and 90% repeat and easier to loose a customer 200% times harder to gain one. Well, I just feel that the Morgan group needs to consider this more. One staff that stood out was Israel the porter, he was such a gentleman and you felt he went beyond his line of duty. The staff in the breakfast area are also very pleasant. We usually stayed in Soho in the past 20 years on our quarterly visits to NYC. But we are now looking for somewhere quieter, with less crowded shops and Chelsea works for us. But we are not sure if Morgan will be our new "place to go"

I paid for 3 rooms but 2 of my colleagues had to cancel 3 days before our arrival. I lost the money paid for those 2 rooms. Other than that, the experience was good. Staff was very prompt and courteous. $30 + tax/tip = $37 was overpriced for the breakfast. There was only one plug on the wall behind the headboard, and both were taken up by the night lamp and clock. I needed an outlet for my CPAP machine, which could not be plugged in on the other side of the room. I figured it out, though.
