Dirty, Dirty, Dirty!

After a long day of traveling, I arrived at the hotel and waited in line to check in for about a half hour. It was about 530pm and I was told that my room was not ready even though check-in began at 4pm. I was given a key to a dirty changing room and waited till almost 7pm before my room was finally "cleaned" and ready. Upon arriving to the room I found it to be dirty w/ crumbs and dried food stuck to the countertops, stains on the couch and walls. It was also in disrepair with cracks around the floor boards, exposed electrical cords and scratched furniture with missing knobs. After complaining to the manager, I was offered a new room and upon arriving to the room, it was even worse! It had not been cleaned since the last guest and was complete with a dirty, unmade bed, towels tossed around the bathroom, pizza boxes, beverages and trash scattered around the room. I have stayed in motels cleaner than this and am absolutely shocked that this place calls itself a hotel/resort. Save yourself the hassle and do not stay here.
