Horrible Hotel

Pros: It's located inside the airport. The only reason to ever pay for this room and stay here is if you absolutely must be located inside the airport.
Cons: It would be improved if it was burned down. Also, don't reuse the already-opened bottles of lotion, shampoo, and conditioner in the rooms. Gross!
Location: There are many other nicer & cheaper hotel options just a 2 min from the airport (literally), and as for as I found, they all provide a free shuttle.
My wife and I stayed here twice in May/June 2017 during a trip to Ireland because we had an overnight layover in Miami on both sides of the trip. The only reason we stayed at this hotel is because it is physically located inside the airport, and we needed to protect against the zika virus. This hotel allowed us to not have to go outside. As soon as you get off the elevator, you'll be scared from the way the main hallways look. We went to 2 other floors, and all of them were as bad as our floor. There was a stench of mold in the air. Ceiling tiles were missing. Wires and hoses were hanging from the ceiling. The walls look all beat up. The carpet is a disaster. Inside the room, it smells stale and moldy. There was a hole in the wall above the door with a pipe sticking out. The carpet is ragged and disgusting. The walls are all scratched/marked up. This room was a disaster. It's the kind of room you walk into and immediately start itching all over. When I complained, we were then told we would be upgraded to a "newly-remodeled" room. The new room was exactly the same as the first one (just a nicer bathroom). There was also a faint chirping sound coming from the vent/fan outside the bathroom door. It kept us up all night! Also, the light from the outside hallway shines through the door frame to the room! I'd expect a room in this condition from a no-name motel that costs $39 outside Reno, NV. But we paid $180 the first night, and on the return flight layover we paid $200 for it.

Quick layover

Pros: Close to the Amerian Airlines Counter.
Cons: We had a very small, cramped room. Looks like larger rooms are available for an additional cost. Internet did not work very well.
This hotel is OK for a quick layover, but not more than 1 day recommended. It is located in the airport at Concourse D. Small rooms, basic amenities. Airport restaurants close by.

Easy Airport Hotel

Booked the hotel room called prior to arrival the desk employee gave very easy instructions from where the rental car space is. Would definitely stay here again centered where our departure was early at 5am made our last part of our vacation easy!

Pros: location
Flew in for a cruise leaving the next day; stayed at airport hotel very convenient; not having to tote luggage out to a cab to go stay at a hotel just to come back to the airport next morning to catch the shuttle to the cruise port. Room nice and quiet.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in!

Pros: Absolutely everything.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Cruise port, airport and restaurants.
We arrived very early from getting off a cruise and we were allowed to check in early and the hotel upgraded our room. The hotel was exceptionally clean, staff very nice and the location perfect.

Perfect location for overnight stays. Dated rooms.

Old, noisy beds. Rooms need updating. Front desk staff has improved a lot :-) much more courteous. Room service needs to be quicker. Great location in front of Concourse E. Baggage handlers are too pushy for money. They deserve tips, but complain if you give them $10 or less.

All this has going for it is that it is in the AP

Pros: Location.
Cons: Update things, like the window shade, are working. Add headline news and the weather channel to the TV options. Get working elec. keys.
Location: Did not leave the hotel.
Broken window shade, shabby conditions in the room. It looks and feels its age. We had to get two sets of keys because the electronic lock system broke. But it was quiet, relatively clean and of course, in the airport. No weather channel, no Headline News on the TV. Not very focused on travelers, an unfortunate surprise.

This Hotel Sucks!

Pros: We were spoiled by the Hyatt Hotel in the Airport in Orlando and expected similar facilities in Miami. We were sadly mistaken. Don't wast money here
Cons: I recommend that the expense of taking a cab to an off site hotel would be worth the money and effort. Don't stay here. TOTALLY TERRIBLE EXPERENCE!
Location: There is literally Nothing around. Granted, this is an airport, but there isn't much around and very few good restaurant or entertainment options.
This was the worst experience of my life. First the hotel staff was rude and were not interested in helping any one who was not a Spanish speaking customer. They seem very annoyed when we asked questions or "disturb them." They were unwilling to help our situation or explain what alternatives we had. We arrived very early after returning from a cruise and we were inquiring if it was possible to get into a room early. No one would take the time to explain about the possibility of getting a "day room" until our regular room was ready. After 3 hours of sitting in the lobby and watching others check in and get room keys, I approached the registration desk to find out what was going on. The clerk told us there was nothing she could do and she walked back to the office. Finally, a different clerk came out and explained about the day-rooms and I was willing to pay a little extra to get a room right then (which I would have done 3 hours earlier if someone had of taken the time to explain what the options were available to me). The rooms where terrible! We had paint peeling from the walls and the room was very dingy for the price we paid. It had a prison feel, with a small single window that was painted shut. There were old fashion plantation shutters on the windows that did little to keep out the light. The bathroom was dated and the toilet took some "special tricks" to keep the valve from sticking and sending it into a continual, repeated flush cycle.

Functional Hotel

Location of the hotel in the Miami Airport was the reason we chose the hotel. We used it to rest prior to the next morning flight from the airport. Meals can be had close by and the room was comfortable enough.
