I've stayed here multiple times and everytime, my visit has gotten worse. I will not be returning. First and worst of all, my room was dirty upon arrival. There were coffee spills on the counter that hadn't been cleaned, there was no trash can in the room, room servive was slow and almost impossible to reach when dialed. My room was not cleaned on day two of my stay and when i called to report it, i was told someone would be up right away to do so; however, that was not so and by the time someone did arrive to clean the room my toddler was asleep and i did not care to be interrupted. Lastly, check-out was chaotic, and the staff seemed unfamiliar with the checking out process.

Complementary not in their vocabulary

Pros: It was near the area where I wanted to be.
Cons: They could be more reasonable for what the extras cost. I think they wanted $30 to fill a hot tub and $6 for a Twix bar... come on.
Location: They were plenty of shops in the neighborhood
It was very disappointing that this hotel would charge you for what seemed like everything. They wouldn't even give you a complimentary bottle of water. Considering what you pay to stay here you'd think something would be complementary. But it didn't seem that way. I did not eat at their restaurant though I heard their food was good. Though the hotel itself is nice building I believe that most of the rooms balcony views are poor. My view from the balcony, as was most of the other guests I talked to, a wall or some sort of lattice. In other words, no view.

Beautiful hotel! Beautiful rooms! Super food!

Pros: Everything.
Location: Pool on the roof is wonderful! There are shops, restaurants, a playhouse all within walking distance.
Loved the location! The staff bent over backward to insure my complete satisfaction! I'll be back next year!

Very beautiful

Beautiful hotel. Copper, plants and water everywhere. Still needs some updating. No vent in the bathroom. No outlets in the bathroom. Not much is complimentary, lots of extra charges. Beds weren't ver comfortable, our double bed had a sink hole in the middle.

Very Disappointing

Cons: The amount of people on staff could be upgraded
Location: Fat Tuesday Bar,Duffy Sports Bar, and the Cheesecake Factory
I was very excited about going to the Mayfair hotel because of the reviews i heard about it. When I checked in the staff was very friendly. Well once we got into the room we noticed that everything to buy was very expensive including the water, I mean who really pays $5.00 for a can a of coke and $4.50 for M&M candy? On top of that I told the front desk that I was stepping out for a few hours and can they send housekeeping to clean my room, I came back 3 hours later and my room was not cleaned. The next day I called room service to bring ice, they came 1 hour and 30 min later, after that I told the front desk that I was leaving again, and can they clean the room, I returned several hours later and the room was not cleaned. When I complained about it, they apologized and stated that they were under staffed and they were too busy trying to accomodate a wedding that was taking place that weekend. I will never stay there again and it is plenty of hotels in Florida where I can get very good service. The only thing I can say if the comfort of the room was great and the hotel looked great.

It was a nice hotel but they had baby lizards running around in my room i ran across 3 different ones throughout my 4 night stay also when i arrived the room smelled like mildew. Other than that the hotel was clean and the layout was like no other hotel ive been to...it was beautiful

Rooftop pool walking distance to bay.

Bay area had affordable prices on water activities ,kayak ,sup, etc. Plenty of restaurants walking distance with great food. Rooftop pool played Mayweather fight free to guests on projector screen w/ pre party. Beautiful pool and awesome staff. A very nice and peaceful escape not too close to the strip with friendly people.

Older Hotel But Elegant

Our stay was very nice! Hotel staff was very nice! It is a large property and could use more cleaning staff due to the size of the property, but overall it was very nice. Beautiful hotel with beautiful architecture! Loved the private balcony with hot tub. Close to Coco Walk with lots of shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Very disappointed

Pros: The cheeseburger was ok.
Cons: Convert the building to self storage warehouses.
Location: We stay where overnight to attend he Miami Open Tennis Match, thinking it was conveniwnt to Key Biscayne.
If you want a hotel where the rooms don't have a window (no joke), you find hair in the sink, the parking attendants ding your car door, the television has a limited number of stations, and noise from the atrium penetrates your room all night, then this is for you. I rarely write these reviews, but this experience was so terrible I felt I needed to warn fellow travelers. Oh, and did I mention the ridiculous cost for a small bag of chips in he room?
