Very Rainy but picturesque location
2-night stay with not far off 36 hours of heavy rain - so no sea swimming, nor coastal path nor lovely beach walk! Accommodation like a UK caravan park (NRMA seems equivalent to that) was spacious, warm enough, comfortable beds, views of sea possible through the villa opposite's BBQ area! Lots of restaurants in town, Legacy of India was superb curry/service and Club Sapphire was excellent Sunday meal (saviour as almost all others closed on Sunday night!).

Great location and facilities. Originally booked here for the kids to use the water slides but they were not working. I understand these things happen but given its not been working for a few weeks, I feel we should have been advised prior to our arrival as a courtesy. This notification would no doubt assist the wonderful staff as some others were very vocal about their dissatisfaction.

Really enjoyed our stay at the park. We had a poolside Condo and the cabin was spacious, large bedrooms with a bathroom each. Kitchen was good but a little old, good private bbq facilities on deck. Good activities at the resort, nice pool, children enjoyed hiring pedal karts and the resort was perfect for them to ride around safely. Water park was closed due to maintenance issues which was disappointing. Pool, pillow, games room all close at sunset. Other places we stayed on this road trip had their pool/s open much later. Recommended a change machine is installed in the laundry rooms as I rarely carry coins with me, but perhaps regular visitors would be more organised. Resort close to beach and nice walk to clifftops. Anything else really required a car to travel.

The safari tent we stayed in had an uninterrupted view of the bay which we saw a lot of whales on their migratory path back to the Antartic. the tent was very comfortable and cosy.
