"Great place to stay if you want lots of pools"
The hotel is really beautiful. The big pool was nice, a little old looking and there were some drunk guests throwing a football in the pool almost hitting other guests. However the pools next door at the Hyatt Residence were amazing. The hotel room was comfortable and clean. However it was really hard to watch tv when the channels kept losing signal.

"Beautiful hotel grounds, right on beach."
Not all rooms are created equal. Our room was advertised as a mountian view room, however when we got there late at night from our late arrival flight, in the moring all we saw was the parking lot. We complained in the morning and by 2PM they had us in another mountain side room with the beautiful view of the mountains and the parking lot was not right in our face. We thank the hotel's manger for being able to make the change very quickly. My girlfriend and I did go to the hotel spa for a couples massage, and it was very relaxing and nice to experience.

"Amazing Experience"
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon, and it was an amazing experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuine. They truly love what they do, and show it in their work. The room was clean, spacious, and well taken care of by room service. My wife and I felt very safe and welcomed here. The hotel is within close proximity of a lot of things in Kihei. The complementary shuttle service (3 mile radius of hotel) is a great thing to get you from place to place within the city, and there are a lot of restaurants, shopping, and activities to do within the 3 mile radius. The hotel is across the street from several beautiful beaches. Just to be aware, there is a $20 a day resort fee, which includes a long list of things offered by the hotel. However, the resort fee is worth every penny. The shuttle, bike rental (3 hours for free), beach and pool towels, and parking are some of the things included in the fee. The hotel is beautiful and appealing. The pool is beautiful and has a poolside bar which was nice to relax at. I would recommend Maui Coast Hotel to everyone who is visiting Maui. My wife and I have no complaints and really enjoyed our say.

"Best Hotel and Best Service We've Ever Experienced"
The Andaz Maui was fantastic from the room, the ocean view shower, push button lights and curtains, to the lush tropical grounds, and we added the breakfast buffet in our package through Travelocity. The breakfast was amazing with many choices and all were excellent and enough to skip lunch. You had mixed juice choices, omelets, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, pancakes, salmon, assorted cheese and oatmeal....and much more. The service was the best we've ever had. Well done. There are five separate pools, with one open 24 hours with a hot tub. They offer lounge chair covers, umbrellas, towels and suntan lotion by all the pools. The beach crew offers snorkel gear for 2 hours free, paddle boards, outrigger canoe rides and boogie boards. You do pay a daily resort fee that covers these options so use all you can, including a gym. We enjoyed our stay and will return. Well done Hyatt Andaz Maui for excellent service.
