The only thing that I was disappointed by was that we purchased an Executive Suit which was supposed to be on the fourth floor and up according to their own website. We were on the third but we didn’t say anything and enjoyed every moment we were there.

Very close to the beach less than 5 min.. Lots of options to eat on the property or at beach front restaurants. We ate breakfast at The Mango deck and dinner at The office. It got a little noisy but when you close the door to the balcony its alot quieter. We had the most beautiful view of Lands End right from our balcony. I checked out the spa and will be doing the salt water pool, steam room and saunas for $15. here are a couple of things i would bring. They have a Original Nespresso machine in room. They give you 2 pods for your stay. If you want more the are $4 each. buy some and bring them with you. Also i brought our favorite bottle of wine in my chucked bag.....loved sitting on the balcony with my wine 🍷

This is my third stay at Casa Dorada and it's unfortunate to have had such a bad experience with the service from the Concierge and Housekeeping staff. We won't be back. I had brought balloons from home for a birthday and asked the concierge if they had a helium tank. He said they did and told me they'd charge $60 USD to blow up two balloons. When I said that seemed insane, he laughed. I went into town and they did it for $10 USD at a party store. Our housekeeping staff was the biggest disappointment -- they came in and made our bed and gave us towels each day, but did not do any cleaning otherwise nor replenish the bottles of water nor the coffee pods. When we called to inquire about getting more water, the Concierge told us that they should bring it each day but we'd have to wait until the next day -- the water never came after the two bottles that were in the room when we arrived. The website specifically states that there is a coffee maker and grinder in the room. It's actually a Nespresso machine. They give you one regular and one decaf pod FOR YOUR STAY (not per day); a medium carafe of coffee each day was $15 USD and was just two cups. They never once touched the bathroom surfaces -- did not wipe down the sink for the entirety of our 8 day stay. They didn't hang our robes or wipe the kitchen table. All of this was a departure from the service in the past and not what you'd expect of a resort that charges like they do!

Regarding the coffee pods, they are delivered according to your reservation. Your reservation indicated room only, which included two coffee pods on your first day. We are sorry for the misunderstanding. It is important to mention that we were in a process of alert due to the hurricane Norma that was approaching the coasts of Baja California Sur.
