I didn’t like that not all the facilities are available to all guests. You have to rent a specific room to access the soaking tubs, sauna etc. or you have to pay a steep fee. We happened to book the room that allowed us access, but I would have been very unhappy had I not had access. I loved the location and the views.

Poor service from some staff members

Pros: The room and view of the falls is great.
Cons: See prior post.
Location: Check out the Twin Peaks memorable spots.
Check in and valet service was just fine. No problems on the first night and made our reservation for dinner on the second night. It all went bad on day 2. We asked to get on the list for breakfast and were told it would be 5 to 10 minutes. No problem and we went upstairs to reserve a spa treatment for the next day. When we came back it was nearly a 15 minute wait before we finally cancelled our breakfast plans. They seemed surprised and when told we were leaving due to the long wait the response was that someone stood up when our name was announced. Apparently some of the staff cannot remember guest looks for more than a few minutes. We cancelled our dinner reservation as a result of this, then had to go back downstairs and make sure the liars who claimed they were us for breakfast did not charge their meal to our room. At no point was there a mention of confronting the people who lied about being us. The lodge did send a complimentary bottle of champagne as an apology (albeit with no note which made for more confusion) but for such a small location I expect the staff to do a better job in knowing and helping their guests. With that said some of the members were very polite and welcoming. The location was very nice, but to pay this much money one should expect better service. We will likely stay at a cheaper location if we were to visit this area again. It was very unfortunate overall.

Hello, We're happy to know your check-in with us was smooth and pleasant and that our valet team members provided you with our high standard of service. We're sad to know your full visit didn't live up to your expectations. Our dining staff works as a team and there is often more than one team member welcoming guests to our restaurant and managing the waiting list. Although we do our best to remember each face we have the pleasure of welcoming, we also rely on the integrity of our guests when seating. We are blessed with mostly upstanding visitors, and we're sad to know this was not the case during your time with us. We hope the complimentary bottle of champagne, the 50% discount on your room, and 50% discount on your meal for that night helped brighten your visit. Thank you for appreciating the friendly service you received during the remainder of your stay.
