Very lively loved the water aerobics and nightly entertainment. Did not like the steak house at all. Food was terrible. I had the burger, husband had the ribeye. Burger was like a dried out frozen thin patty, steak also overcooked and fatty. When I read Steakhouse and you needed a reservation that isn’t what I was expecting! Wish I never ate there. Should just change it to a burger place with better burgers and no reservation needed. All other eateries were good! Many nice employees especially the main guy in the front bar!

The Riu is amazing the staff food and entertainment are excellent only couple of small things makeup mirror for the ladies in the bathroom please we have visited the Riu reggae twice now and according to my husband we are returning

The staff was great, friendly, treated us with respect. They did everything they could to make us feel welcomed. The party bergade was amazing! Very entertaining from morning to night. Always trying to get you involved in the activities which was really nice. Saturday night show is A MUST SEE. We were very happy with the resort. Thank you very much

Pros: Great entertainment throughout the entire time. The excursions were great. Massage was great but double what we typically pay. We were able to go to Rui Montago Bay were most of the parties were and the djs did not disappoint. The buffet was good esp for an all exclusive. The jerk chicken at the jerk hut for lunch was amazing. Rum punch will get you drunk and sleepy. Cons: Check in took forever. We arrived at 12. Check in is at 3. At 4 pm we just asked for another room as we were really tired and needed to shower from travel. There were men in the woods on the other side of the fence of the hotel that would pop up when we were on the balcony asking us to buy weed and give them soda from our room. Was pretty scary at first but we got use to it. We saw them about 3 times during our stay. Lastly, there was a roach in the room. We agreed to let that slide and would say something if we saw another. Thankfully, we didn’t. Overall, we had a great time. I’d rate it 7.5/10
