"Amazing! "
This hotel was amazing! I am very picky about hotels and most hotels that state 5 star, I would give a 3.5-4 star. However, The Cape is the true definition of a 5 star hotel. From Emilio greeting you upon your arrival by name to the friendliest staff throughout the hotel, they all exuded customer service. It was our anniversary and they had a bottle of tequila in our room when we arrived and on the day of our anniversary everyone knew it was our anniversary throughout the hotel. That evening after we returned to the hotel, room service came to our room with a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries...just in time for the beautiful sunset. The room was spectacular! We had the panoramic room and we didn't close the curtains throughout our stay. The views were breathtaking! You can see the views from the shower, the bed, the jacuzzi and balcony! The rooftop restaurant was so romantic and had live music. They also have a restaurant on the lower level with an outside patio overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was delicious! The French toast is a must try. I am a really hard critic on hotels but I truly commend the manager for running such a tight ship. It was clean from head to toe. Everyone was very professional and most of them greeted us by name. The rooms were beautifully designed. Everything screamed 5 star resort. My only negative was that to get into town it's $20 each way. But this is at no fault of the hotel! That's how Cabo is throughout.

"Good hotel for price and location"
The location of the hotel is great, I really enjoy being near Medano beach, the Marina and the main streets, the cost of Bahia hotel was allowed me to be in the middle of it all. The staff was very nice, they have free wi-fi in the hotel lobby and they allow free phone calls to the U.S. and Canada. They have a very friendly Concierge, they have a computer and printer that can be used 24 hrs if needed to print your boarding passes. I did not have a safe in my room, but there are safes that are secured in a room that can be used, that was an easy fix. I didn't have a hair-dryer, iron and ironing board in the room, but they did bring it to me upon request and allowed it to stay in my room during the time I stayed. The only thing that I did not like was that the bathroom doors are not solid they have cut outs with bamboo sticks in it, for me I did not like that part I found that to be a poor choice of decor and lack of privacy. I really enjoy going to Cabo, you can use American money everywhere, everyone speaks good English, a very friendly city, a lot to do, they have a Walmart that will require a taxi-cab and you can pay in American money. I enjoyed it very much.

"Nice resort, but not what I expected"
First I want to start off by saying that I booked this for our honeymoon, and the resort was more than adequate for that purpose. The Staff were wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate and make you feel welcomed. What isn't mentioned here is that this is a pure to form time share resort. When you first arrive they ask you to attend a presentation, which we politely declined. While at the pools someone from one of the restaurants came around soliciting reservations to dine that evening. We took up the offer and ate at Don Luis which had very nice ambiance, but the food was terrible. I ordered lobster and it tasted like ammonia. The next day I informed the concierge of the previous nights dining experience and was contacted later that day by someone from the Food and Beverage operation. She said they would like to make it up to us for the bad experience. She made reservations for the next night. Early in the day I inquired about the comped meal and was told we would be given 15% off of the next meal. At $100+ per meal we declined. As I work for a major cruise line, I was surprised by this weak recovery attempt. Long and short is the resort is beautiful, but the food is terrible. Every subsequent meal (except one order of nachos) we had was terrible. We left feeling slighted by the resort (and hungry). Not at all what we expected from such a high end resort...on a honeymoon...Don't even consider the all inclusive package. You will be very unhappy!

"Quinta del Sol "
I was there for 4 days and 4 night during Labor Day weekend 2016. The restaurant staff was very professional and the quality of the food was good. On my third night, the town was hit by a hurricane/tropical storm. The storm knocked out power and wifi throughout the night and there was minor flooding in some rooms. The staff handled the situation very professionally and offered us a discounted room rate the following day due to a canceled flight back to the U.S. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Walking distance to a couple convenience stores, banks, taco shops, grocery stores, Walmart and Dominos pizza.

"Beautiful hotel very poor management"
1. Hotel lost reservations 2. Could not get into room until 4 PM even though rooms were ready 3. Hotel was not able to make keys for the room that worked (at least 5 set of keys had to be made in 5 days) 4. No ID requested when making new keys 5. Sofa bed was hard and very unconformable 6. Required passport to pay a $300 bill with cash 7. Ocean view room had a big palm tree in front of window and could not see the ocean.
