Friendly staff, open concept

Pros: I liked how friendly the staff were and always were smiling and helpful
Cons: I would definitely work on having the wifi functioning properly all over the resort - it never worked in our room and on the resort it would cut out
Location: The ocean you can't swim in but the beach is nice. There aren't any stores or bars nearby - you have to take taxi to town for 25min ~$40USD each way.
We had a pleasant stay at Barcelo and the staff were so friendly and helpful - everyone from the front desk staff to the bellhops and food service. They were always ready and willing to help when we had any questions or concerns, and our room was cleaned very well everyday. We did pay an extra $30 USD for wifi for our stay but were super disappointed with the quality as it only worked for one day in our room and otherwise we would have to go searching for bars near the lobby which was a major inconvenience. We did notify the front desk who said they would have someone look at it, but no one ever came so the matter was never dealt with. The variety of food offered was quite impressive - lots of different places to eat with different types of cuisine - although the sushi bar had very limited selection and rolls that were almost completely made of only rice. Don't forget to tip the housekeeping and bartenders/servers, it's not required but they really do appreciate it and offer better service!

Relax and renew!

Cons: The music in the outdoor area was too loud. Couldn't talk and enjoy it.
Location: We did both towns! The pirate ship whale watching was perfect. The Jazz and sunset cruise was fun. Take your Dramamine to enjoy it.
We showed up on a Thursday afternoon and enjoyed every moment on and off the resort. The food was awesome and service also superb! We recommend trying a Scorpian drink poolside! We will be back to Cabo!

AWESOME STAY!

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful experience here! All the staff is amazing! They are so assertive with whatever you need! They all spoke english so there wasn't that awkwardness! The view is SPECTACULAR! The other guests we also so polite and friendly! Our room was beautiful! Overall it was such a great, wonderful experience we will be coming back again!

Really nice hotel. All inclusive had good food, drinks and included nice restaurants Part of the hotel staff was not so friendly the rest was great. the location is excelent

Nice view, good food and comfortable rooms.

Pros: Close to the beach, nice bar at the pool, good food, quiet room, comfortable bed.
Cons: We Were not allow to pay for any meal or drink for our family that were staying next door so we end up eating most of the time in their hotel
We have a very amazing stay. To bad they did not allowed our family members visit us in our room so we spend most of the time in their hotel.

Relaxation

Hotel was very empty when I went, but it was nice because we wanted to relax. Food was great at the Mexican and Italian restaurant.
