Room next to kitchen

Pros: Centrally located and close to the tube.
Cons: Placement of guest, should always be considered
Location: Location was great and lots of good restaurant !
The hotel was ultra nice but my room was next to kitchen! It was always nosey. The staff wanted to upgrade me for an extra 30 pounds per night.

Pros: Everything.

Location: It's London! Piccadilly line next to hotel and takes you everywhere.
Awesome hotel. Was given an executive room upgrade without asking plus free breakfast and hot cookie.

Convenient location to underground station

Very good location. However the rooms were dirty and light bulbs out in the bathroom. USB plug did not work. Fire alarm went of when I dried my hair with hairdryer! Went out early and got back at 5pm to my room not made up. Manager was not very interested.

Thank you for the feedback about your experience. The hotel is indeed convenient to get to and in a great location to visit all the sites of this wonderful city. Located right next door to the Gloucester Road Underground (Tube) station with access to the Piccadilly, District and Circle Lines. We are in the process of changing all lights across to LED and installing more sockets. We hope to see you again for an improved stay. ‘Happy Travels’.

Very inflexible with cancellations.

I lost $1600USD even though I cancelled well in advance. Unwilling to even refund one night.

Quick trip to London

Cons: Housekeeping is slow and sloppy.
Location: Walking distance to Hyde Park, Kennsington Palace, Harrod's and decent shops.
The hotel is convenient to a metro stop, but expensive if you use cabs to get around London. When you walk in the entry, you're hit with a wall of perfume. If you have scent allergies, don't stay here. The restaurant is OK, room service is very confused. Tried it once, the guy was so unhelpful and struggled with English that I gave up. The staff in the bar is great. Everyone on the first floor was helpful and friendly, it's clean and looks great. Then you go upstairs. Stained carpets, I was afraid to walk on the ones in our room. The maid service was awful. We were lucky to get clean glasses, coffee/tea refills or even garbage emptied.

Modern hotel in Kensington.

Pros: Nice modern hotel with helpful concierge and doorman in top hat.
Cons: Breakfast buffet a bit pricey for the offerings, service was terrible. Had to ask for coffee three different times from three different servers.
Location: Location was very close to Underground station which made it convenient. Lots of good places within a block for breakfast, lunch or diner.
Hotel was much more than I expected. Check in went smoothly. Large room with comfortable beds. Had to ask for extra bath towels which arrived promptly. Coffee and tea service in room with real coffee cups and real glasses. Mini-fridge was nice to have. We did not sign up for the breakfast buffet but tried it once. I feel like it was a bit pricey and the service was terrible. Only complaint I have. Thanks for a great 4day stay.

Great location, rooms not so good

Pros: We liked the location, bed, pillows, and bathtub.
Cons: I seriously think they place people who use Travelocity, and go with the least expensive rates, in the rooms that are in need of being updated.
Location: Hotel near V&A, Natural History Museum, and Kensington Palace, an easy walk. Since this hotel is so close too tube stop, it is a great area to stay in
We stayed here for three nights. Great bed, pillows, bathtub. Hotel needs to be painted, walls and doorframes are beat up. Carpet in the room had a few stains. We went on to Edinburgh and then came back to this hotel for one last night before flying out of London. For this one night, The room they gave us was horrible. There was a Murphy bed ( the type that folds up into the wall) this bed was at a slant, it would be difficult not to slide down the incline when you were sleeping. There was a desk in the room that almost fell over when I set my small purse on it. The lighting was horrible, TV was small and it sat on a flimsy stand. The room was also in the service area for staff, lots of noise. I went back to desk and told them the room was unacceptable. They moved us to a corner room that looked out on a semi-busy street corner. It was noisy, but the bed was good. I had the staff person accompany me to the new room, she said they would just give the room to someone who came in later in the night and just wanted a bed to crash in.

Nice hotel near Gloucester Station

We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to Gloucester station so it was super convenient to hop on and off the tube to get wherever we needed to go. I just wish the rooms were larger and that the hotel offered free wifi.
