Loved most all. Staff was super especially Bar Gentleman was so kind and accomodating. Need a new mattress in room 114. One side sloped down....otherwise all was nice. Would stay again on our next trip and will reccommend to our friends...

The locations was perfect!!! Watirose is across the street Shop with phone lines around the corner. Tour bus leaves from in front of hotel. The metro is across the street. Clean, extremely helpful and friendly staff, especially Francesco. Very accommodating, needed our bags stored while we went to Paris for a few days, and we had planned to return to another hotel as their rate had doubled for those dates. Fransecso agreed to hold our bags and gave us the option to return to their hotel at a discounted rate when we got back. Of course we took the offer! Even the breakfast was wonderful. They even have a towel warmer in the bathrooms. Only Cons: the fridge in our first room was broken, and the mattress in our second room was very uncomfortable and lopsided. Overall, I will not stay at another other hotel in London next time I go.and will recommend to all mu friends. Great value for money.

My daughter and I enjoyed our time at this property. The location is across the street from the Gloucester tube station with direct access to Heathrow. Within walking distance there are plenty of restaurants with easy tube access to other neighborhoods. The restaurant and bar were also convenient and the staff was very accommodating. We will be back!

Staff attempted to overcharge me both at check-in and check-out. Room service did not bring place settings. Had food poisoning from room service. Empty glasses left in room after housekeeping

Nice hotel in a great location in Kennsington

Pros: Location & Price
Cons: Workout Room could be better and more accessible. Our room key didn't work on it.
Location: Good local restaurants; excellent proximity to Tube Station on Circle Line, District Line, and the Piccadilly line with service to Heathrow.
No Muss, No Fuss. We arrived at noon on a Saturday, and our room was ready in a few minutes. The room was small, but what we needed. I would have preferred a small usable fridge to a "mini-bar" loaded with expensive items. There's a good small grocery nearby and an excellent chain boulangerie ("Paul") that had good break and pastries, and a Starbucks just a few doors away, with a small black "filter" coffee" for 1 Pound. Just a 1/2 block to the Gloucester Road Underground Station, on the Circle, District, and Piccadilly lines.

Not a great hotel

This hotel was inadequate for the money. The elevator was broken during our stay and any reasonable hotel would have made sure it was being repaired. How do you have no elevator with a full hotel? The night we arrived our room was missing the remote control to the television. That could not be addressed until the morning so the first night we had no television. The restaurant in the hotel was closed for breakfast at 9:30 AM? Great hours :( Last, the hotel was not very clean. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Convenient Location Plus Great Staff

Pros: Great staff and location for the price.
Cons: Carpets needed replacing in the room. Lobby décor could be updated tho that did not particularly bother me.
Location: Buses at front door. Tube station abt. 1 blk away plus more buses. Reasonable eating places nearby plus more upmarket ones. Tesco close also.
Hotel staff bent over backwards to be helpful. As a senior traveling alone, I appreciated their willingness to be helpful. This hotel was exactly what I expected. An old quirky bunch of row houses cobbled together into a very serviceable hotel. Buses right outside the door plus a few steps to Cromwell Rd. and more buses plus the Gloucester Tube station. Lots of restaurants nearby plus Tesco market. Great bath. Carpet needed replacement. I would come back.

Great boutique property in Kensington

Pros: Location, staff, well-tended rooms
Cons: Service at the Jam Cupboard restaurant.
Location: Easy access to Gloucester Road Tube, close to museums, Royal Albert Hall, pubs/restaurants, Harrods, Kensington Gardens.
This is a great boutique hotel in Kensington, just a block from the Gloucester Road Tube stop and numerous restaurants -- and only a couple of blocks from the V&A and Natural History museums, Harrods, Royal Albert Hall, etc. Hotel staff arranged for private car transport to and from Heathrow. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only minor disappointment was the service at the Jam Cupboard; if you're not taking the breakfast buffet option, instead ordering off the menu, staff seemed ill-equipped to deal with that. But we found delicious -- and much less expensive -- breakfast down the street at Cafe Forum. Surprised that we seemed to be the only Americans staying here; everyone else we met was from the UK.

Excellent service

Pros: Staff. Bed linens.
Location: Excellent location, especially close to restaurants and the underground station.
The room was disappointingly tiny. Hardly any room to walk around the bed. We would have expected more for the price. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Otherwise, the excellent staff and their helpfulness made up for the room. Breakfast was excellent and the staff there also was the best.
