After we checked in. Went to our room door was opened had not been cleaned yet. I called front desk & he showed up telling us he was looking for housekeeping. After riding in the 90 heat in a motorcycle all day. We had planned on relaxing in the air conditioning. Going for a swim. Instead we ended up sitting on our balcony for 45 minutes. Housekeeping did show up, she was very apologetic. An hour later, while my husband was undressed. The manager entered our room. She had been told our room stil was not cleaned. When we checked out, she too apologized. She was so upset. We did tell her we understood. Especially with every thing going on. She also told us she would be sending us a gift certificate good for 2 years,

The king room was HUGE! Loved it. Would definitely stay here again. The night staff was great and welcoming.

Pros: The location.
Cons: The beds.
The beds were very lumpy and hard to relax in. The breakfast was good, but the waffle maker was broken.

Normally like Holiday Inn Xpress - disappointment

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Good restaurants and great little golf course within minutes.
Have stayed in Holiday Inn Express many times with comfort and cleanliness. Not this time - old and dirty, beds were terrible, one too soft and one too hard! carpet was dirty. Paid way too much money for this hotel. Will never stay there again..
