Hotel

For the price of the room. I expected better service. I had asked for more pillows, never showed up.

Not the best place to stay when it is cold

Pros: Not much.
Cons: Better room temperatures especially in the winter. Heavier blankets for winter nights. Workable door locks. Waffle spray.
Before my wife and I decided to move back to the Chicago area, we had to decide just how far we could travel on the first of a three day trip. Most of the time traveling between Colorado Springs and Chicago only required two days of driving. But this trip I would be driving a 20-foot U-Haul truck and since before this trip the largest vehicle I had ever driven was a pick up truck, I felt the need to limit the amount of miles per day. We decided to make our first night's stop in Lexington, Nebraska. Of several hotels to pick from, we decided to stay at the Econo Lodge. After reading several negative reviews I decided to take a chance and stay at this motel. After getting into the room, we found that the room's door was broken, at least the lock did not work well. And then as we fell asleep there was a lot of noise coming from the second level. We were in a first floor room. Since it was the dead of winter, the room was cold. So I went to the front desk and found the manager who gave me just one blanket. Maybe they only give out one blanket per customer. After getting back to bed, we finally fell asleep. Not very good internet either. The next morning we decided to eat at the motel. Unfortunately they did not have any spray for the waffle maker. So our waffles stuck to the maker. Only got bits and pieces of the waffles. And overall just not a very good place to stay. We should have gone down the road a little further, but the price seemed right. Not again.

for an inexpensive place to sleep

Pros: Free breakfast
for an inexpensive place to sleep and shower it is a good value. would not want to stay for an extended time. good coffee for morning.

Good for overnight on road trip.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Good inexpensive accomodations with refigeration, microwave, and contential breakfast for a quick stay on a road trip.
