After calling and speaking with the front desk at 8pm to advise them that we were on our way but would be late, we were assured that there would be no problem, even if we arrived as late as Midnight, and that they would make a note in our confirmed reservation. When we called at 10pm to double check, they had given our room to a walk-in, acknowledging that when they gave our room away they were fully aware of the note on our reservation. They had no other room for us.
