I knew when I booked to stay at the hard rock it would be located slightly off the strip however I didn't factor in the airport. I got to hear a plane take off every 5 mins and not only did I have to deal with that noise also the noise of other guest walking through the halls and even had some one knock on my door and run. Really! Such a horrible experience will probably never book at the hard rock again. Very disappointed.

nice hotel

Pros: I like everything. the staff were excellent..
NICE Hotel, great location, the room are comfy. the only thing check in process, was kind of late, when we get there at 3pm . our room is not ready, until 5pm! overall, nice Hotel, love the room decor.

Overall a nice place

Cons: The resort fee that most hotels in Vegas charge is an additional fee which doesn't really add any value other than just being an extra fee.
I was in Vegas for work and this hotel was closest to where I needed to go. The hotel has multiple restaurants of which I made it to 4 of them and they were all good. The casino was good as well. My room was very nice and I was able to relax with a nice view to boot.

Nice hotel VERY close to the strip!

Pros: friendliness of the staff
Cons: THE ALARM DRILLS!!! Inform your guest please!
Location: Many food joints near by to dine... nothing fancy, just regular fast food near by. Perfect for if you want to stay in some sort of a budget.
We had a positive experience at the Hard Rock overall. The one thing I will have to complain about is them testing the alarms one of the days we were there at 8:30 in the morning!!! Of course we understand that safety is important and the drills must go on, BUT would it hurt for them to inform us? We literally ran out of our room scared to death at 8:30am after a night out on the strip before.... That is my only complaint for the hotel. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Don't stay here

Location: The strip is 1.5 miles away
As soon as I got to our 1st room, I was disappointed. It had 2 beds instead of the king I had requested, and no coffee pot, mini fridge or other little amenities you find in rooms now a days. I called the desk and the clerk said, " since I booked thru a 3rd party that it is the hotels prerogative as to what room I get" she also informed me they did not have a king rm till the next day. At this point it was just an inconvenience I could deal with. While in this rm I found someone's worn false eyelash stuck to my husbands sock, dead bugs, dog food on the floor and the pictures has dried stuff running down them. The next morning we left our bags with the bellhop and the front desk said they would call when the new room was ready. I got the call around 2 in the afternoon and got back to the hotel around 4.I had to stand in a really long line just to find they screwed up again and that I wouldn't have another room for about another hour. It took 2. Next morning woke to flooded bathroom. Main sewer line broke.(8th floor)from construction above. the bellhop who came to get our bags notice the previous sticker and asked about it he called and had a manager mee us downstairs. She comped us our resort fee, $50 in food, and room upgrade to an executive suite (not much of a upgrade) and day passes to the spa (also not much of a perk) this day was a major inconvenience for me because I had somewhere to be and had to vacate my room right out of bed. There is more but out of space

Not worth it

Found hair in sink, tub and toilet. Mattress was shot. One side of the bed dipped 6 inches lower than the other.

Disappointed in the hotel room. Have never stayed where there was no coffee or water available in the room.

Hardrock blues

Pros: Not much. A few guitars of musicians but most of them are just fake displays. It has changed alot in the last 20 years. It used to be cool but not now
Cons: Pretty much everything. Very sad place to stay. Front desk staff (night shift) and management rude, no clue, and lost when it comes 2 customer service
Location: Off the strip and there is nothing close by so make sure you have a rental car or drive your own. No comparison to the big hotels on the strip.
The maid service and room cleanliness was on par. Polite and took care of all requests.

The only complaint is that they hit you with a huge amount of fees after your stay.
