The room smelled like a cigarette butt dump. Smelled terrible, even the towels smelled cigarettes. That's how bad the room was. Cigarette burns on the bed cover. The only thing I can say positive about the motel was it near my parents house and that was the reason I pick this place.

Terrible

For the amount of money that was being charged for one night it was not up to standard. The room was not very clean. The bedspread was soiled. The bathroom had a very small shower stall. The towels were an off shade of white. The outside of the bldg is in bad shape. We had plastic and duct tape and cement blocks on the carpet where we entered the room from the outside. The lobby was filthy. I would never go there again nor would I recommend it. It was probably worth 50.00 total for the night. They offer a continental breakfast but no way was I even considering eating there after seeing how dirty the lobby was. If I wanted a cheap dirty place to stay I would have gone to a cheaper place and not paid $122.00. For a travelodge by Wyndham it is in bad condition. If you want to charge that much at a supposedly discount through Travelocity you need to clean the place up.

Dear Marjorie We are sorry we are sorry that your stay was less than satisfactory and we will work hard at fixing the issues you mentioned. However we would like to politely disagree with the description you gave of the lobby. It is never at any time dirty. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us

Pros: Only positives were bed was comfortable and breakast muffins were tasty and fresh.
Tiny check in and breakfast area. Large gap under door, snake/mice/bugs can easily crawl in. Feel got black from dirty carpeting.

Noisy and smelly rooms

Pros: The bed was ok.
Cons: Lots! The smell inside the non-smoking room was very strong and totally unacceptable. Staff should more proactive dealing with disrupting guests.
Location: Not sure, I was there for an event and this hotel was extremely convenient, unfortunately I couldn't sleep much due to the incidents I described.
First, let me qualify that I am relating my experience staying in one of the rooms located right in front of the pool (poor design) and would strongly recommend that if you do decide to stay in this hotel, please ask for a room as far from the pool as possible. I requested a different room when I realized this but unfortunately, according to the hotel staff, they were sold out and had no other available rooms. I was in Lancaster for a cycling event, thus just spending the night before the event and my only expectation was to get a good night of sleep - which did not happen as I was up most of the night. Firstly, the non-smoking room I stayed in reeked of cigarettes. Secondly, there were very loud kids playing in the pool until late at night - I called the front desk and was told that pool hours were dawn to dusk, and according to the staff dusk was at 11pm (well past actual dusk). However, even after pool closing time, these same kids were running (sprinting) upstairs and screaming very loudly until well past midnight. Other than the smell, the room itself was not terrible. It had all the amenities I expect from a quick in-and-out hotel: coffee machine, restroom and a bed. The hotel looks kind of daunting from the outside, and the Indian restaurant inside the hotel was shutdown (not sure why). This was the least expensive hotel we found within distance of our event, but next time I will be more than happy to pay a premium to be able to get a good night's sleep.

never again

Pros: only we liked about this hotel, was checkout....
Cons: new staff
we have stayed here before, and always had a nice time....with the new owners now....it has gone down hill...we had the worst weekend there ever...first off,no cable...they didnt even try to fix it....we had very loud people next to us,and the hotel staff wouldnt even take care of it.....it seemed the staff was more about the money then helping to make thing better.if we didnt already pay for the room,we would have just left and found another hotel, but we would lose the money.....we wish the hotel was the same as it was from a few years ago, everyone was so helpful and nice back then...we wouldnt even tell our friends to stay there anymore...

Dirty, horribly kept room in desperate need of repairs.

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Noisy, no ironing board available, "free" internet was unreliable
This room was the absolute worst hotel room that I have ever stayed in. That is not an exaggeration. Although I recognize that a smoking room can smell, the smell was very heavy. We used a name brand air freshener several times in a two day span. We sprayed heavily on the curtains and the carpet. It had little to no effect. The wall paper was falling off of the wall and was being held on to the wall with multiple push pins. It was a handicap room with handicap accomodations; we had no need for a room with those accomodations. There was an empty bottle and a coffee stirrer under the bed. There were two oranges in a plastic shopping bag left in the fridge. part of the wall was damaged. The "solution" was to cover it with multiple pieces of masking tape. There was a cigarette burn in the comforter. The comforter smelled so bad that we layed our own blankets down in order to avoid sleeping directly on the bed covers. The front door became unpassable. The only way for management to open the door was literally to kick the door in. The bathroom door was off kilter and could only be closed by lifting the door in order to clear the door frame. Being a handicap room caused the shower head to be so low that we had to bend over at the waist in order to wash our hair.

paper thin walls

Cons: Noisy
Room was in good condition and clean. Walls were paper thin and TV in next room kept us up until 1AM. Could hear all the neighbors talking and they were not yelling.

The room was comfortable and at a great price.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: showing its age
The room was small but it was clean, smelled good and comfortable. The bed was large and comfy. The complementary breakfast was spartan but fresh and tasty. For the price, this hotel is very good and I recommend it.

Great deal for the price!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The staff was very polite and helpful. The room had a wonderful welcoming smell each time you walked into the room. We would leave in the morning and every evening return to a clean, made up room. The bed was comfortable and smelled fresh. All the things that are important to me. It wasn't anything fancy but neither was the price. I would take clean over fancy any day!
