Dated but clean hotel - convenient for my needs
The shower leaked water ALL over the bathroom floor every time we took a shower - like ALOT of water. I was very worried about slipping! When we returned back to room late afternoon of 1st full day there, our room was not cleaned - I called down to front desk and talked to gentleman who said i should have requested cleaning at which I said "no one asked me about it at check in" - he said in a curt way "I should have realized that after covid and that all hotels do that now". I replied i had stayed a many hotels since covid and some did ask me that but others did not - how was I supposed to know? He said he would send someone soon. I feel I was charged too much for my b'fast - we did the buffet and was charged $57+ on my bill. While I feel the hotel was clean, i felt like it was very dated.

I asked through Expedia for a window view hotel facing east downtown Denver for New Years view of the city for midnight fireworks. I got a room facing west towards the mountains. Next time I will book direct with hotel and get the preferential view I requested.
