"nice partial view of mountains and lake"
Enjoyed staying here while attending Sammy Hagar concert. The room was alot nicer than I expected due to other reviews I had read. It was very comfortable and I really loved the large window view of the mountains and lake. The only issue I had were the extremely very high room rates and the extra charge for WIFI not included in the resort fee. All other hotels 4 star and 5 star I stay at include it in the resort including the 5 star resort I stayed at in Vegas 2 days later. I understand it was the holiday weekend and that is why the rates were high but seriously charging extra for WIFI and not including it in the resort fee that is ridiculous, I spend about ALOT of money for 2 nights and they still wanted to charge me extra for WIFI? I chose not to include it, went to McDonalds down the street to use WIFI and ate outside the hotel the entire time, they already took enough of my money!

"Nice Hotel"
Very nice. Sierra Café staff not very friendly. We were charged an additional "resort fee" upon arrival which is not made clear when booking your room on Travelocity. Other than that we were very pleased with the service from Travelocity which was our first time using this booking site. Would stay at this hotel again in the future.

"Did not disappoint"
Very nice and quiet room and comfortable bed. A little bummed that I had to pay for the in room coffee, but the excellent exercise room was a great trade off!

"Incredible and worth it!"
This resort is absolutely incredible!  As soon as you pull-up you feel valued, cared for, and taken care of.  It is not an inexpensive resort, but it is worth the money for sure.  We loved the close proximity to hiking trails, plus biking and skiing trails in the right seasons!

"Beautiful resort in a great location!"
This resort is located just a few miles north of Tahoe City. It was very well appointed and perks like the concierge service made it a top-notch experience. We were very pleased with the restaurant selection as well as the shopping right there at the resort. Because the resort isn't right on Lake Tahoe, I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have a vehicle at your disposal. The resort is also very close to Truckee to the north, which is a fun little town for shopping and dining. I can't wait to come back to this resort when I visit Lake Tahoe again.

"Nice Hotel near the Beach and downtown..."
We stayed here over labor day weekend, mainly for the lakefront view and pet friendly factors. At check in we were greated and checked right in Upon arrival, they offered champagne or water, the guys who work the valet station were awesome super friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the small side but had a lovely view which made up for the lack of extra space. We had tons of rafting hiking planned, being outdoors most of our trip the lack of extra space wasn't a huge issue. It was very clean and had unexpected amenities such as heated bathroom floors and toilet seat, free kuerig w/ coffee and tea, and a fire place. We were on the 2nd floor and our balcony which faced the beach was utilized our entire trip. The unexpected con to our stay was the face our small dog (15 lbs shihpoo) was not allowed on the beach, for being a pet friendly hotel they offered nothing really to help accommodate our pup other than a dog treat upon check-in. This was a dissapointment all we could do was walk our dog near the fence of the beach. We ordered room service a few times, the breakfast is amazing, more specifically the leamon ricotta pancakes, we got them two mornings in a row, the food is overpriced. We spent $50 each time we ordered breakfast. The photos of the pool online are deceving, be aware the pool is small and not as private as pictured! All and all we had an amazing trip our stay was nice I just think for what we paid we expected more than recieved.
