We loved the location - that it is so close to the train station and yet it is quiet and away from the main street traffic since it is on a side street. We also loved that right around the corner, there is the park and library. The venue for the Lucerne Festival is nearby. It is just within a few minutes of the hub of trains, buses and boats. We are a family of 4 and had a family suite (2 conjoining rooms). It was plenty of space and we had a very comfortable stay. The Front Desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We also appreciated getting the bus pass that the hotel provides for guests.

Nice hotel but no door on bathroom

Pros: clean, comfortable bed , friendly staff. Directly across from train station . Close to all main attractions in Lucerne Cons : we had the design room. The size of the room was standard for Europe , but what the pictures don't show is the lack of a bathroom door . Not much privacy . There is a frosted door instead of a noise reducing wall between toilet/bathroom and bed. It makes the room look bigger but you can hear everything and see everything . Not private at all. The shower is also quite small. It was fine for us who are average size people . But if you are a little bigger , it would be very uncomfortable . Especially if you dropped something on the ground and had to pick it up. Very unfortaunate bc the rest of the hotel and room were great

Close to train station. Huge room for family with children. Breakfast is one of the best i had in Europe. Will definitely return!
