Great place to stay
Excellent staff and cleanliness of the room, only 1 shower on level 2 (women only). Little bit cramped for space within the lockers but the room itself was definitely spacious enough to put my luggage in the corner. Safe outside door lock after 9PM. Would definitely return and recommend!

I was only here for a night since the hostel was fully booked but really wanted to stay longer. The girls at reception were really helpful and friendly. The one annoyance was that a group due to check in later that day moved their enormous luggage into the room before I'd even woken up.

Nice hostel, good location
Stayed just 1 night in the mixed dorm. It was comfortable and what I needed. The location was central to a lot of tourist destinations by bicycle. The hostel also has bicycles for rent for 500 yen a day but did not know until I got there. I had already rented from a local bicycle shop. It would have been nice to know in advance. Would stay at again!

Handy accomodation
Whilst the room was 'bare bones' and a little uncomfortable, the location more than made up for it. Since everything in Kyoto is spread so far apart, having the Bus 50 bus stop right out side the door was amazing! Room was as you would expect, and the shared bathrooms were impeccably clean. If you don't care about luxury then this was the perfect place to stay!

Very clean and comfortable. But all spaces are shared except your bunk bed with a curtain. Not for everyone. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Happy stay
I just stayed one brief night but the service was good and the bed comfortable! The location was a tad bit far from some of the main sights, but closer to the downtown area. Easily solved with a bus ride.

Located near the bus routes, very clean, great showers (although only 2 of them...could see this as a problem if they were very busy)...good value.
