For as much money as I paid, I expected at least an air conditioner and a larger room - very disappointed! The restaurant staff and housekeeping staff were wonderful. My request were always met with a smile.

We discuss our guest feedback on a daily basis in our morning meeting, I will be sure to make the team are made aware of your feedback as I know they will want to hear your feedback and take both the positive and negative comments on board. I was obviously pleased about your comments about our team, our service levels are our number one priority. In terms of Air Con some of our rooms to have Air Conditioning (circa 15%), if staying again please let us know and we can try and allocate you one of these rooms. From a business traveler’s perspective...

Pros: The front desk went out and got me a bar of soap and a couple of wash cloths (they provide body wash but no cloths). Excellent food and reasonable.
Cons: The service in the restaurant is slow and put the coffee out every morning. Provide wash cloths as standard. Install shower doors or curtains.
Location: My trip was very focused on work - which actually required me to go to the mall for some things (intu Merry Hill).
The hotel staff, bartender at the pub, Starbucks barista, and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived around 9 or 10am from the airport and was exhausted. They got me to a room as soon as they could (maybe 30 minutes). The room they assigned me hadn’t been clean yet. The maid was right next to my room cleaning. When I informed her that I had been given a room but it wasn’t clean yet, she said that it was the next one she would clean. I don’t know how the front desk knows what rooms have been cleaned yet but I would have thought that the maid would’ve dropped what she was doing to take care of a waiting guest. When it became apparent that wasn’t the case, I returned the desk and was given another room. I had a double room booked. It was small but clean. The closet space was fine with enough hangers to allow me to hang a week’s worth of clothes if I hung up my pants and shirts on the same hanger. The large tv was on a table which had to also serve as the desk so it left little room but enough for a 17” laptop as long as you don’t need to have papers out. The bathroom was odd. The shower tub only has half a clear glass door that doesn’t latch or form a seal with the tub. If you bump into the door with your elbows, it easily moves. My first shower left a lot of water on the floor despite my best efforts.
