We were looking for a nice romantic getaway and really enjoyed our stay at Chateau Avalon in the Castaway Island room. We purchased chocolate martinis at the bar, cheese and fruit with a small sluce of chocolate cheesecake to share in the room and the bed and breakfast for the morning. The food and drink purchases were all wonderfully prepared and delivered in a timely manner by the staff. We will look forward to returning for another special date night in another themed room.

Check-in was fast and efficient. Our room was right outside the lounge so it was noisy. For being a non-smoking venue, the smell of marijuana was pungent outside our room, along with the tobacco smokers directly outside entryways. Room was clean.

Spa service at the spot, it was great, but water heater was broken, no hot water, none of the elevator was working while I was there. Maybe bad timing but nothing was compensated for the inconvenience.

After a year of just being busy i was finally able to afford to bring my husband to a football game. Ive heard great places about the Chateau so i said why not? Check in was simple, done online. We get to our room and the jets on the bathtub done work. Ms. Lauren offered us another room. Which was amazing on her part. But all the rooms we went into none of the beds were made. Bummed out that we had to wait for the room to get cleaned out and linen to be put on. We were tired after a road trip. But so grateful for Ms. Lauren for going above and beyond to help us.
