Has gone down hill in a year.

Pros: The only pro about this hotel is that it is close to a lot of things.
Cons: Staff training in customer service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
Location: Great restaurants nearby and places to shop.
The staff was unfriendly and would not apologize for their untruths. The first weekend we stayed there, I had called and requested a certain room. When I got there, I was told the room was unavailable due to the AC being broke. When I went out to get my stuff, there was a light on in the room and the tv going. I asked the front desk clerk about it. He told me that the repairman was staying in the room to repair the wall unit. The next day, I asked the next front desk person and was told that the room had been booked out from under me even though I had requested that particular room. The same thing happened on the second weekend of my stay. Another thing that unnerved me was the amount of drugs going in and out of the place. I don't mind what people do behind closed doors, but everyone was doing them in the parking lots in plain sight. The washer and ice machine were broke on the first floor. The sheets were not cleaned very well. I had to wash our comforter in the tub before I could even sit on it. There were white marks all over it.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

The room smelled horrible. The toilet was extremely unstable. There were bugs crawling in the bathroom. Totally disgusting.

This hotel is very dirty and not kept up. Upon checking in there was an odor . The outlets in the room didnt work . The bedspread had stains and dried food. No cups in the room for water or coffee which it didnt matter because there wasnt a working outlet . Dont stay here!

Worth close to the price

Pros: Coffee was surprisingly drinkable. Room smelled fresh.
Cons: Nearly everything else about the structure needs repaired. I counted 5 "out of order" signs ice makers, vending machine, and even the security reader!
Location: Location is convenient, but a bit squirly to get to with the bizarrely designed intersection at I-35 & 95th.
Overall, the building is pretty rough, and looks like it's had a hard life. The room itself was mostly clean and smelled pleasant. Cleaning service was a bit disappointing, since we only were given 2 towels for 4 guests, and were not replenished with simple things like used ice bag or toilet paper. Friends of ours that also stayed during the same weekend received no towels on their 2nd day. Breakfast was as I expected for "continental", but some fruit would have been nice. Your choice was muffins, toast, oatmeal, cereal and waffles. That's a lot of grain carbs! The coffee was actually not bad, and better than most hotels that use the cheapest they can find. ***ELECTRICAL WARNING*** - The rooms had very few outlets, and they were hidden behind heavy furnishings, making it nearly impossible to plug in phones and laptops. There were lamps sitting in the room that were not plugged in, and could not reach outlets. What's the point!? The same thing with the coffee pot... not plugged in and nowhere close to an outlet ;-( To compensate for the lack of outlets, there was a power strip by the nightstand. I say "by" the nightstand, because it was actually in the bed with you underneath the pillow. What the heck!! My wife was sure her hair would find it's way into the holes during the night and she'd be pulling a Michael Jackson Pepsi tragedy right there in the Super 8!

Was ok for the price, staff was rude.

Overall my stay was good with the exception of my last day, which made the whole experience a huge turnoff, and I will never book there again. On my last day there I left the hotel with some of my bags around 8:30 am and dropped my daughter off at her sporting event. When I returned to my room for a few more things around 9:15, my room key was already deactivated! Check out isn't until 11:00! The front desk lady was so rude about it, ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!! I would not recommend this place due to the customer service alone.

Overnight stay

Pros: Location/cost
Cons: The whole place needs some spiffing up. Carpets cleaned, etc.
Location: Convenient for our purposes. Not far from the mall.
Centrally located for our needs, the staff were very friendly and helpful. On checking out, I was asked about our stay and I replied it was fine, except the mattress was pretty uncomfortable. He said they had new ones but had been very busy & not got them changed out. We've stayed in better, and we've stayed in worse.

Good Location / Good Motel

Pros: The Motel Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Everything was clean and as anticipated. It was ALL good!
Location: Right next to I-35, and close to I-435. You can get to whatever you need in KC.
PLUS: Hosts were Hospitable, Rooms were clean, Motel was quiet (this was a Saturday night). NEGATIVE: Only negative was the bathroom door had a hole/dent in it, and the lock/door-frame and marks from someone forcibly entering the bathroom. I explained this to management (so I wouldn't be charged, and they acknowledged the prior damage. It wasn't bad, and I would book this exact room again!
