Incredibly over priced for the standard of property. The property is old, tired, out dated. There are clearly long term tenants living there. There was noise late at night and early in the morning (from the construction site right next door). The one restaurant was very basic, filled with tradesmen and not inviting to international travellers. Sadly this one (unplanned) stopover for a night in Maui has completely put us off returning. The photos and reviews are not accurate.

The property was old, dirty, room smelled, the pictures looked wayyy better than it did in real life. Super disappointed upon even just pulling up to it, then walking into the room was even worse. And the check in guy was in a bad mood, we even saw him yell at another customer.

If you are looking for an retro vibe property this one fits the bill. Property is beautiful and well maintained with great mountain and ocean view. The rooms are a bit dated but are definitely clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast at the restaurant attached to the hotel and it had more than generous servings. If you have the pancakes I would recommend the short stake, I’m 6’4, 320lbs and I struggled to finish mine.
