The outside was nice but the inside was dirty and had a musty smell. They were under staffed and over booked. Horrible experience!!!!

False representation on website. Room pricing is too high for this dated mold smelling hotel. There is no room service if one is staying 6 or more days and guest must replenish their own bathroom amenities. Would not recommend at all, dust is everywhere. BEWARE

The first room had bugs in the bed and roaches on the bathroom wall. It smelled like hot pee when entered. I was given a 2nd room that cleaner but there were still roaches in the bathroom. I definitely would not be back here and if it hadn't been for the fact that I was vacationing so far from home and my pet could stay I would have left the very first night.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Nothing close, Poor breakfast
If you don't mind kids running and skateboarding thru the hallways and the cooking odors from every room melding into an acrid permeating stench then you'll be okay. The place is a long-term "Suite" type of motor inn for traveling tradesmen and temporarily displaced families. The staff, while friendly enough, is mostly very young and not that eager to please - and quite boisterous. Also, housekeeping's policy is they don't clean your room unless you're staying 5 nights or more. Overall, I'd stay there again if I was in a pinch but for another few bucks you can do better elsewhere.

good value

Perfect for my one night stay. Got the room for half price. I didn't need the kitchenette but it was nice and clean. Bathroom was also nice and clean. Front desk staff was very friendly. The bed was a little on the hard side but I have a bad shoulder. Not very many channels on the TV. That would bother me on an extended stay. Only real problem was some loud guests in the hallway. The rooms didn't have much soundproofing and noise in the hall was expecially noticable. I would stay here again but only at the half price rate.

Exceptional Weekend Rates - Good Value

We stayed at this location on a Saturday night. We were in a Queen Studio for only $39.99/night. I thought this was an OUTSTANDING price. The room had bed, kitchenette, bathroom and living room area. It was clean and roomy. My only complaint was that the bed was so firm I would have been just as comfortable on the floor. It was worlds better than anything else in this price range (Motel 6, Red Roof Inn, Days Inn) and it was in a much nicer area. Salisbury road on the weekends is nearly a ghost town because most of the surrounding area is a business park that is not heavily used on the weekends. If we ever have to stay in Jacksonville again. and this low rate is available we will definitely stay at the Homestead again.
