Beautiful resort

Posted Mar 1, 2017
Our trip was very nice. Hotel small but lots of activity. All staff very helpful. Food was fabulous. Our one complaint being that we had paid additional money to upgrade to an ocean view room when we booked. VERY disappointed when we were told the room we were in was an ocean view room when all we had was a view of pool, snack hut & palm trees. All the ocean visible from our balcony was between the palm trees

Had a great stay and would go back in a hearbeat

Posted Mar 30, 2015
We loved our time here. The staff was better than any other place we have ever stayed. Refreshing our drinks and bringing new ones before we even asked. The beach is beautiful although the swimming area is not the best, but for sitting on the beach and enjoying the ocean it can't be beat. Not too much activity at night or over all for that matter, but if you are looking to relax and be taken care of, this is the place to go

My brother's wedding was gorgeous!

Posted Apr 13, 2011
Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, right on the ocean!, i could live here!
My younger brother got married on the beach here. The wedding couldn't have been more beautiful and peaceful. We even had onlookers tell us after the ceremony that it was "the best weddingof the entire week!" Also, the carribean setting provided a great opportunity for amazing photos! The staff was pleasant, accomidating, and respectful of our privacy. This was my first trip to Mexico, and I would love to return someday! Thank you!

Amazing in every way!

This place was amazing! I am a young adult and went with my family. When we first got there our travel reservations were messed up no fault of the palace and they were quick to fix the problem. They treated us with respect and kindness from the minute we stepped into the hotel. The rooms were well kept everyday and the dining was excellent. They had buffets throughout the day as well as room service with at no extra charge. Each nice they had something to do for the kids and some form of entertainment. They are located on end of the island and you have to travel about 10 min to get into town but the privacy and quiet is nice after a long day of excitement. There was a specific younger employee that was in charge of the activites for the day and was specifically there to help entertain the kids and he was a joy to play beach volleyball and water polo with! The view of the beach was beautiful and even though I didnt pay for our family trip we all thought it was worth the money. We are planning on going back to the palace resorts and considering going back specifically to Isla Mujeres Palace!!

Sait Elsewhere

Rooms are great, beach is ok, the night life is na. Then there is the service I have had far better at any other resort that was cheaper. Dinner were good if you excluded service but the breakfast and lunch food was substandard when compared

Look Carefully

Posted Jan 17, 2010
My girlfriend and I just came back from this hotel 1/14/2010. The staff was superb in ALL respects. It was mostly quiet except we specifically booked the "concierge" level which was adults only and was of course more money. The first morning we were there,we were awoken by screams of little kids in the next room and when I mentioned this to the front dest they said they were sorry but did nothing to remedy the situation. This continued for the whole time we were there. There is not a lot to do here but thats the way we wanted it. We ordered fish a couple of times and both times it was grossly over cooked ,so stay with the steak. The buffets at breakfast and lunch were just fair. Go with room service ,you get freshly cooked food and more variety as well. I do not think its worth the money to stay there again.

Excellent experience

Posted Oct 4, 2009
My wife and I have traveled extensively in Mexico and have never expierienced the quality of this resort! The staff were very attentive with only 14 guests staying the week we were there. The food was excellent the entertainment staff went out of theyre way to make sure we had a good time, the rooms were clean and had great views of the ocean. We brought our children with us one is fifteen and one is seven they said that it was the best vacation they had ever taken. The trip from the airport to the resort is actually quite enjoyable if you plan it correctly, We used a tour company that picked us up at the airport and drove us to the ferry terminal, crossed on the ferry and grabbed a cab at the terminal to the hotel all of wich you can book online and total time from airport to hotel was only about 35 minutes. We have stayed at other resorts in Mexico and the Carribean and we have never been treated so nice the staff at this resort are very proffesional and courteous we all decided that we are definately going back!!!

Planned Well, Awesome Trip

Posted Dec 7, 2008
I studied this resort well before booking, I read about the Island too. I have to say if you are looking for a typical get away and just relax resort this is a perfect one!! Awesome staff, good food, clean, resort right on the ocean. Not much entertainment at night, so if you are looking for lots of partying and going wild maybe Cancun would be a better option for you. Its a pretty brand new resort so its developing! I was excited because being there I learned we had a complimentary 2 free day activities from the resort, 1 was snorkling (which was unbelievable, just fantastic,) and the 2nd one was 2 hour tour around the island on the boat and we get to swim in the ocean, very nicely organized both trips. If you choose Isla Mujeres make sure you do take care of your transportation details, that is very important, because once you land in Cancun a bus should take you to the Marinas and from there a ferry to the island and from there a taxi to the resort. But that can all be arranged for you through the resort. I had it taken care of through Elite Tours.
