Property was beautiful the staff was beyond amazing they were all friendly and helpful when you had questions. The only thing that I think they could improve on is more variety for the dinner menu. Smaller portion options along with being able to choose lunch options along with entree choices for dinner menu. We had such a wonderful trip and would definitely recommend and will stay here again when I travel back to Belize.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pier dining was cool. We had fun using the kayaks and paddle boards. Corn hole and volleyball were also available. Resort was advertised as a four star. However the rooms are quite dated and need upgrades.

We arrived threw a security check point, walked down an immaculate path to meet the friendly staff at the front desk. Our room, which we were not informed, was on the third floor. The veiw from the balcony was beautiful, the room on the other hand, was plain, and boring. The walls had dirt marks on them and there were no chairs to sit on in the room. The air conditioner was barely adequate, the bathroom was average and missing a light bulb making it very dark. The toilet was so close to the sink on the opposite side, if you leaned too far forward, you would hit your head on the corner. We have traveled quite a bit, and this was definitely not one I would recommend for the money.

Great property, mediocre service

Pros: Facilities and amenities.
Cons: Service.
We had a very nice visit and the property is generally quite nice. The food at the restaurant is nothing special but edible. The restaurant service was good. There are much better restaurants at other hotels though. While the hotel will provide transportation it is quite costly. This is actually an issue anywhere on the island as Taxi's are expensive and it is not easy to rent a car. The main issue with this hotel was the service from the front desk. The safe in our room quit working. We had to notify the front desk of this daily over three days before it was finally fixed. We also had ants in the room. The wifi for the room never worked even though this was supposed to be included. We raised all these issues numerous times but nothing was done during our stay. In addition, we had booked spa services a few weeks prior to our visit and had email confirmation of the time and service duration. When we showed for our appointment, we were informed we were moved back an hour as another guest wanted service. They may no attempts to resolve this. We reluctantly came back an hour later and our service ended up being 30 minutes less than we had booked. We were only charged for the shorter service so just gave up since issue resolution at this hotel was not going to happen. Despite the numerous issues the staff never offered a sincere apology or anything to address these issues with a room discount or even a free drink. Some gesture however small would have been appropriate.

Beautiful setting, nice beach.

Pros: Clean and safe. Beautiful pool. No stray dogs. Well groomed beach.
Cons: I wouldn't change anything. It is a beautiful resort if you want a quiet, secluded vacation.
Location: There is nothing close. Everything is in town, about 20 miles and 30 speed bumps away!
The hotel is 20 miles from Placencia so no nightlife here. It was an incredible resort but in hind sight, I would rent something in Placencia so we can enjoy the local people. It was a very high end resort but you don't need to spend that much to find a pleasant place in town.
