Front desk staff was pretty nice and went above and beyond. Initially we were in a studio and changed to a 1 br but it seemed even smaller, but more money a night. I looked online and the 1 br room is 4 sq smaller than the studio. We tried to change it back but was told we were not able to, so that was a little disappointing. Also our room was next to the street so it was very noisy especially at night. But overall the staff was very nice and it was decently clean.

The staff was very welcoming, the room was spacious and had everything I needed for a long stay. The breakfast had options and the mini store was perfect for last minute needs.

The property was very quiet and clean. The staff was very helpful with directions. Anything needed for the room, the staff provided.

Worst Residence Inn & Marriott experience ever. Dirty Rooms, at least the 2 we were given before we left. Soiled comforter, dirty sinks, hair on bed & toilet. Understaffed.

Convenient Access to Highway & Dog Friendly

Pros: Very clean, great breakfast, easy access to highway.
Cons: Friendlier, more accommodating staff.
Location: We had family live near airport so the highway was conveniently nearby and area was about 10 min away.
This hotel has great highway access while still being in Downtown. The breakfast was amazing every morning! From hot plate items like waffles, eggs, ham, etc. to the typical breads, cereals, juices, etc. They had issues keeping plates, bowls, waffle mix, etc. The rooms are nice and clean with bed being super comfortable like you would expect from a Marriott. We had our dog with us in a crate in our room and didn't feel like an alien there. You can walk your dog around the courtyard and there are doggie bags provided there. The street is really busy so careful with your pet. We had to pay a non-refundable, pet fee. Parking in the secured lot was always full & very small for the Residence Inn customers compared to the Courtyard customers. Parking was available in the overflow yard (was unsecured), but didn't have any issues. We paid a parking fee in addition to a parking tax. Downside was our toilet overflowed on our last morning as everyone was getting ready for breakfast Nice man came with a DIY plunger, but the plunger wasn't the problem as it was somewhere in the line. We had to use the bathrooms near the lobby as even though they brought us a key for another room, moving our family & dog to another room wasn't convenient. Checking out, the attendant was courteous but indifferent making the checking out phase not a pleasant experience. Overall, we'd stay again as we like the Marriott's chain of Residence Inn but you won't get a warm & friendly feeling from staff.

Nice Downtown Hotel

Pros: Location
Cons: It needs to be updated with new furniture and paint, showing some wear
Location: You don't need a car because the shuttle will take you many place, there is also a water taxi close along with a tourist tram system
Very nice hotel in downtown Tampa, withing 5 miles of everything. Lots of stores and shops in walking distance. Scenic river walk and museums within blocks of hotel. They have a social every Mon-Tue-Wed where they serve snack fare with wine and beer, if you drink, for about 1.5 hours. The staff is really nice and will do and help in anyway

Great Location!

Pros: Room was nice and large, loved having a full kitchen. I was staying with a friend so it was great having a pull out couch for the extra "bedroom".
Cons: Eggs needed some serious work at breakfast.
Location: Location was perfect for visiting Downtown Tampa!! We had a party at the Tampa Club, very nice, & walkable distance from the hotel.
Hotel was walking distance to cute little places to eat. It's near the beautiful river walk where you can take a nice beautiful walk.

Friendly Staff and Comfortable Beds

Location: Convention Center is a short van ride from the hotel.
Shab and her co-workers are friendly and care about their guests. I stayed in room 305 and the bed was comfortable and the pillows were great for sleeping. They offer great van service within a two mile radius and make it easy to get to and from the Convention Center.
