Dennis, the manager check us in. He was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Real a very nice man. The room, 419 needs to have the upper vent cleaned, it and the area around it are very dirty. Kind of gross. The frig makes some loud humming noise.

We booked 2 rooms with Travelocity with all confirmation information! hotel only had 1 room booked and was 70 dollars cheaper at hotel than travelodity

This place is beyond great! It is always the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been to, never a single issue with the rooms. Not to mention the staff is great! This past June (June 2020) we stayed there on our way back from North Carolina and when we left we forgot my sons blanket, something he is extremely attached to. Instead of throwing it away when they found it, they kept it safe, and clean. Not only that they didn’t hesitate to shop it back to us. The Staff at the Charleston, WV location is always top notch. We have stayed there every year when we come back from vacation because they, as well as the hotel, is always great! Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, they went above and beyond to find places for us to eat and get drinks from since theirs was shut down. 5 stars without a doubt

I liked the fact that it was quiet. I did not like the fact that the curtains were sheer and the street lights were shining through onto the bed and also headlights would shine through the curtains onto the bed while I was sleeping. Maybe consider putting blackout curtains on the side of the hotel that faces the parking lot.
