Hotel is dated but the rooms are comfortable and roomie. Staff is rude and not friendly. They seem to not want to be there and work. Always an attidue when guests approach the front desk. A lot of ghetto and sketchy people stay at this hotel and area is also out of the way and not really convenient.

Room has run down furniture. Sofa with pull out couch is old. Mattress not made for guests.

I had reserved 2 rooms. And only one was ready for check in. They did switch the second room to a different one but it was still not ready. Had to wait about 2 more hours for the second room to be ready.

Over nighter

I was unimpressed with this hotel. It got pretty good reviews but I must have visited on a bad night. I requested and king size bed for my husband and me. They gave me two queen beds. When I called the front desk to let them know I was given the wrong room, they told me that was all they had that night and I have to take it up with my travel agent. So that was disappointing but not as much as the water damage on the walls and the ceiling of the room.

Some things just can't be paid for

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The staff! Please, treasure these gems. There are some things that can be taught but being so well mannered has to come from a good southern raising. Kudos! The one 'but', no elevator, which is not a great deal sometimes but it turns out to be when you come back tired and with both arms full of bags from shopping at theGalleria all day. Nice hotel, good beds, clean... A great value for your money. And a great staff to top it all.
