Awesome hotel and staff

Simply amazing all inclusive hotel - beautiful grounds, façade, pool area (there are three big ones!), room, and most commendable is the first class hotel staff service. Forget about nearby Ritz, come here instead! The Zango resto (main dining) staff and hostesses were especially very attentive and anticipated all our wants and needs. All the rest of the staff were commendable as well from the frontdesk, bellboys, pool attendants, St Trop servers and bartenders and housekeeping. We loved the music played in the gym, at the restos and those played by the DJ (house, dance, latin mix, lounge, bossa) but wished the music extended until nightfall as it made things livelier. Minor renos can update the look of the room like the faucets but it did not take away the beauty of the room. We were upgraded to a suite, of course, thanks to Expedia! However be warned that some business staff will pester you into a presentation of other hotel offers. We always had activities outside and running late so were were able to 'escape'. The first guy approached us and insisted on speaking with us as soon as we checked in, which we found to be inconsiderate as we were exhausted and famished from our international trip. Other than that it was a very pleasant, relaxing and comfortable experience! We will miss this hotel.
