Relaxing

The resort was very tranquil & relaxing. Loved the pools. Food was good and late night room service was even better. Not much of night life on the resort. Enjoyed my brief stay.

2nd time guest

We stayed at the hotel 2nd time in last 2 years. We returned because of food variaty and quality of buffet selection, service excellence of employees at the beach. Unfortunately the experince is different this time. When we arrived, room was not ready. Hotel manager said that they are at 98% of capacity and was telling me about policy of their cleaning timeframes. After letting jim know i would like to pay for early check in, he keep reciting policy/ procedures to us and that he cannot accomodate. When we purchased trip we got dailu $50 resort credit. Noone at reception was aware of it, sayingtheir computer system do not transfer ifnormation about booking benefits and features from expedia or anyone else. So we did not use our credit until after 2 days, when wwe learned about it from other guests. Apparently we could have gotten free spa service or beach cabana with foot massage. We met oher friends and they were not explakned the resort credit features until check out. So all 9 days they lost their daily resort credit. Its non refundable if not used daily. Once again hotel staff doesnot inform you about it during check in. We had to bring our phone print out of booking to proove we had it. Lastly at the buffet the waiters took time to serve us , sometimes waiting for 10 min or more to get coffee or tea, even though we left $3+ tip at every meal that is buffet. Hotel needs to improve buffet variaty, it was very limited compare from year ago. Rooms and beach were good!

Wonderful, relaxing visit! Excellent service and great food! Pools very clean. Drinks great! Good entertainment! Close to shopping center.

Great Experience!

We were nothing but please with our stay at the Live Aqua. We felt safe, staff members were fun, helpful, kind, facility was clean, and they were more than accommodating.

Nice hotel to relax

This is my second time staying in this hotel and by far the best food from all the hotels i have gone. Once you step into this hotel you can smell a spa-type ambience. It is a quite and relaxing hotel. Food is excellent. It has different restaurants and you do not have to pay to have superior and quality food. The pool is nice and the beach is steps from it. Very nice and friendly staff always there to help and serve. I would go back to this hotel and recommend it 100%. I want to this the staff for the hospitality.

Love live aqua

The staff here is amazing! The food is excellent, although I did miss the afternoon bbq this year. (This was my 2nd visit.) I cannot give enough praise to the staff though. Every person there made me feel like my business there was appreciated. I know you don't have to tip here, but the staff deserve it. I save my ones and fives all year for my trip to live aqua! Even if you don't tip, it doesn't change the service you receive. Fast, friendly, and appreciated.

Amazing hotel and staff

I know Cancun thrives off tourists but when I book a 4 diamond hotel I don’t expect to be asked to buy something every five minutes while trying to relax on beach. It made me uneasy leaving my belongings when solicitors where CONSTANTLY passing thru. Food options were great, lots of different styles to choose from! There was ALWAYS fresh fruit and veggies available. Room service is 24/7 so that also made it very convenient when hungry but not in the mood for 4-5 course meals! Staff goes out of their way to meet your needs. Beach is like something off a postcard... amazing!
