BEST HOTEL IN CANCUN!

Pros: beach and location
Cons: better food in the deli
Location: everything is a block away
This is my second time staying at the Krystal Grand Punta and I will continue to stay there every time I visit Cancun. They have the best beach in all of Cancun hands down! Also the clubs, bars, restaurants and malls are all a block away from the hotel, never have to waste money on a taxi! Staff is great and the pools are awesome.

Pictures and ratings were very deceiving

One thing I will start with is that the staff was so friendly and helpful during the whole situation. The hotel room smelled like sewage and their was water backing up through the drain in the bathroom, the bed was literally almost on the floor and hard as a rock, you could tell the entire hotel was very old. Pictures and ratings of this hotel were very deceiving. The hotel looks nice on the surface but is not once you actually get there. The lobby (which was open to all the rooms) was not air conditioned and very hot (it was cooler when you got outside) and muggy. We were so unhappy we actually asked for a refund and went to the JW Marriott.

Quiet hotel right on beach.

Pros: Location
Cons: Inside hotel had a foul odor then entire time visiting. Very low water pressure. Bathroom floor puddles when showering. No hot tub at this location.

Good location, walking distance to nightlife area and right on the beach. Could use more activities/entertainment.

Beach is the best part

Pros: The Beach!
Cons: I'd like to see a fridge and microwave in the rooms.
Location: The hotel is close to the Super market, bus, a car rental, flea market and a few restaurants.
Our room smelled like sulfur (rm 1022). The hotel said they would send someone up to smell it in 5mins. After an hour we called and they said they would send someone up asap. The lady they sent only spoke Spanish but you could tell she thought the room smelled fine. We spoke to the front desk again and they sent up someone to put a not so nice freshener in the vents. We had to turn the air off because this freshener gave us a headache. As soon as you open the window all you can hear is the banging of construction from their addition.The next day we asked if we could pleased be moved and they were hesitant but eventually did. Our room 711 was much better. The beach is amazing and made up for all of it.

Best Trip of my life

Pros: Everything was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was great!
Cons: The beach bar would make their alcoholic drinks very weak while the pool bar made them strong (the way I like it). Beach bar should be stronger.
Location: The location was perfect with it being so close to the bars and clubs and the shops nearby. Only a short 5 minute walk. The beach was very calm too.
I came here for spring break with my girlfriend and this was the most amazing vacation I could ask for! We are not the typical spring breakers that go wild so we wanted something more chill. We did the All-inclusive option and it was so worth it! The food was great and the everything there was truly amazing. The staff was so nice and helpful, I practiced my Spanish and caught on more as I stayed throughout the week. They all knew English too but it was nice to learn a little bit while I was there. The staff and servers seemed very happy to be there and they made my trip all the better. I sort of calculated how much food and drink we were getting and let me tell you we definitely got our money's worth for the All-inclusive and more. I even splurged on the last day and rented a Bali Bed on the beach which was completely worth it. It came with Champagne (or bottle of your choice) and a mixer (orange juice) so from 10-6 we had our own private waitress/server that would check in on us and take food orders and drink orders. We even got towel service and a couple of gifts at the end! It was truly an amazing experience and I will definitely be coming back to The Krystal Grand Punta Cancun within the next couple of years to experience it all over again!

Good location and beautiful beach.

Pros: I like the location of this hotel in the hotel zone. I also like the beach in this hotel.
Cons: The buffet in the Restaurant O might need improving.
Location: It's very close to the ferry dock if you like to take the ferry to the islands.
We are very satisfied the hotel environment. Some of the restaurants are excellent such as the Grill.

We chose this resort because the price was right. I was very wrong. Luckily I did some reviews and found that it does not include the all inclusive pricing. Be sure you factor that addition and add it. Room: we arrived at 1:30 and were told it wasn't ready. We waited by the pool with our luggage. 3:00 came it was ready. We had a ocean view room. We walked in the room was humid, AC didn't work but we aren't big complainers so we just left the door wall open for fresh air. I always check sheets and there were yellow stains everywhere so I requested fresh sheets. After we got back from the pool the same sheets were there except bed was remade... So we got them changed again but waited... Shower had rust stains. TV channels are all Spanish except for two. Food: food was around a 3 out of 10 rating. Cheap, no effort. The best food was the Italian buffet and the reservation restaurants. Oh and make sure you get the chicken tenders! They're to die for. Drinks: all inclusive. Drink all you want have as much as you want. But come with some Pesos to tip your waiter / bar staff if you want them to stay on top of you for refill. I would give them 25-50 pesos to start the day then say I'll give you other half at end. They would be very loyal to you. We came during spring break so lots of drunk kids everywhere. It was nice going to the outdoor malls and lots to sight see. Would go to Cancun again but not this resort.

Enjoyable experience

Pros: Location, kids pool, restaurants, kids club
Cons: Better availability for local water activities and expand on breakfast offerings
Location: Note that there are 2 Krystal hotels. Hotel Grand is newer. Close to nightlife thus there will be traffic going towards the hotel. Friendly staff.
All facilities were great. We even took advantage of the in-house photographer for family pictures.
