The wedding venue was amazing but the hotel needed

Pros: I liked the cleaning lady. She helped me get more towels. I also like that my room had a microwave and fridge. Wow, the wedding venue was amazing. They had an open bar and the bartenders were great!
Cons: My room had two queen beds and you could feel the coils through one of the beds. The carpet was terrible. The smell was weird. It all felt terribly dated. The towels were rough. The bathroom had no fan. We were on the second floor and they had no elevator so we had to carry our luggage of over 50 lbs up those stairs ourselves. When I asked about the elevator, he laughed at me. He said I was funny.
Location: This place felt like it was in the middle of no where. There was a really good Italian restaurant nearby, though.

needed a place to stay

Pros: very clean and a lot of space in room.
Cons: coffee pot in the room
Location: great place to stay if you are in area
had a 60th party at a friends house in wappinger falls, the arbor ridge was close. real nice place. it was a 1 bedroom apt with a full kitchen.sectional couch with large tv in living room. very clean. new construction done well. it's a keeper will return when needed.

We were not impressed. I had been to a wedding about 5 years ago at the Arbor Ridge and it has definitely gone downhill since then. We booked a room with a king bed, when we arrived we were given a room with two queens. Thinking this had been in error, we returned to the front desk and explained. The staff member immediately contradicted me, saying no you booked two queen beds. I said that I had the email confirmation for a king bed. Another staff member overheard and said oh I had to change your room, we were out of King beds. There was no warning that the room had been changed. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. We were given a kitchenette room with a queen bed, which was clean. When we checked out we noticed that charged a $20 hold for damages. I've stayed at many hotels and have never been charged this fee. They assured us it would be reversed in 24 hours. Half of the hotel is under construction as the management is turning half of the rooms into apartments. It's sad that what was a nice place has gone downhill. I don't know if it's new management, but I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel ok location to the highway

First impressions where very good, friendly staff clean building. The room was nice with a nice view of the valley and could also keep an eye on my car so that was nice. beds are a little firm but non the less comfy. Everything seemed clean and satisfactory. Would book here again.

This hotel was simple & clean

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
This hotel has undergone some remodeling & upgrades since my last visit. New Management & a friendly knowledgeable staff. Would recommend to a friend.
