The lobby was under construction and totally torn apart. I couldn't even find the check-in desk when I arrived. The breakfast buffet cost $10 (not worth it), and was very poorly maintained-- every time I went to the coffee urns, on 3 different days, they were empty! We had to scrape the bottom of the oatmeal pot, and there were only tiny plastic spoons to eat with. The public restrooms near the lobby were out of order due to construction, but they were not cordoned off, so you walk in and unexpectedly face a construction zone. We ended up having to use a single not-very-clean bathroom in the gym. Our room itself was new and clean, but the Keurig machine had only decaf, no regular coffee. Staff were polite, but needed to pay more attention to details. There were two elevators, one of which was out of order due to the construction. I realize these are "first-world" problems and mostly temporary, but for the price you pay, I expected much better. We were not warned in advance that we'd be staying in a construction zone!

Upon checking in it would have been if the employee at the desk would have mentioned there was a $25 charge on the bill that would be removed at checkout, if no additional charges were necessary. Instead we had to ask about it concerned that the rate we were quoted upon making the reservation was incorrect.

Pillows were awful. The room temperature was hard to control and the water temp in the bath was either scalding hot or cold. Otherwise it was ok. Good location for our event.

Good Biz Travelers Hotel with Restaurant.

Pros: Very friendly staff.
Cons: Provide bottled water in the rooms.
Hilton garden inn brand does a great job supporting business travelers. This one was a nice surprise because it has a full service restaurant on site where others do not. The food and service are good and convenient after a long work day. It is also located close to other restaurants if you don't want to eat in. For example, there is a Texas Land and Cattle restaurant a quick 3 minute walk away.

Excellent accommodations!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We had a family reunion in the Memorial area in July, and our group booked about 25 rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn. This place seems to be a well-kept secret - the staff were great, the rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and clean, and the full breakfast buffett was exceptional. The pool area is very nice, and at night we had it practically to ourselves. There's no in-house restaurant after breakfast, but there's a Texas Land & Cattle restaurant across the parking lot and plenty of other places to eat within a short driving distance. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay, and the price was relatively low for the value.
