For a building built in 1924, I was very impressed. The elevator was modern and worked perfectly. The rooms were beautiful and cozy. The lobby looked exactly as you’d image it would from mid 1900’s. They did a fantastic job renovating the property. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotels location in the middle of downtown is easy to get to. Also there are so many little shops and cafes within walking distance. I’d much rather stay here and get a nice taste of downtown than any little chain somewhere.

A bit of History in Comfort

The stay was only too brief. The atmosphere was that of an old fashioned western hotel, but the accommodations were up to date, clean, comfortable and welcoming.

Liberty Historic Hotel -- a 'must' see

This vintage hotel is newly refurbished, elegant, and beautifully appointed in every sense of the word. From lush bathrobes, spa-level soaps, lotion and hair products, the amenities are generous. Forget the chain hotels in the Cleburne area -- the Liberty is worth a visit or even a weekend if you're in the neighborhood and is at a fraction of the price compared to the other hotels in the area.
