"Location, location, location..."
Loved that the hotel was down the street from Port Authority (where our bus came in). The close proximity to the theater district was a plus. Was surprised there was no hair dryer in the room, but one was provided when we called the front desk. Enjoyed having a drink at District M, which is next to the lobby of the hotel.

"A great hotel with a terrible policy"
This hotel would be excellent for me if it were not for their room "surcharge". The location is fabulous- steps away from Columbus circle and the subway, shops, restaurants, in the heart of Manhattan. Clean rooms - very tiny- which didn't bother me in the least. Everything provided, including a safe. Comfy bed. BUT. The surcharge- a daily fee of $20., $15 of which can be applied to the restaurant or bar, is a real deal breaker. I booked and paid for the hotel in advance and found out about this facility fee as I checked in ("it was in your confirmation email"). This is a cheap ploy to get you stuck in their restaurant, which is not bad, but overpriced ($17.42 for a drink?) A real bummer in my opinion. I did get a great desk clerk as I checked out, who promptly found out about the creep who forged my signature on numerous bar tabs and fixed it. Come on, Hudson, just charge $20. More for the room and forget the gimmicks!

"Beautiful hotel away from the chaos "
My experience at Ink was about as good as a hotel experience gets. When I arrived the room was ready. And it was even more spacious than the photos, which is usually the opposite. There was lots of lighting to set any mood you want. The bed was just right and perfect soft pillows. Staff was all A+ as well.

"efficient room and hotel"
Just off 42nd st, location is OK - good for theater district. short walk to Times square. Rooms are appropriately called "cabins" as they are small but efficient. Perfect for 1 or 2 people, in and out business travelers, shorter stay tourists. Rooms are outfitted smartly, hotel offers nice common area and an ample free breakfast. I will be using this hotel in my future travels to the city.

"Not Bad"
I was concerned upon entering b/c of the construction outsude, and the room was small, but it is New York! The bed was comfortable, but could have been more decorative. The best part of breakfast was the waffles! The batter was perfect! We were able to leave our bags after checkout, return and pick them up while we waited for our airport shuttle. Not bad for a short stay.

"Great place to stay. "
When we checked in we got put on floor 27, when we got to our room it was very small and very outdated. We didn't know only a few floors were updated. So we called front desk and Crystal was so nice and moved us to the 8th floor to a updated room. It was very cozy and clean. We would definetly recommend this hotel. Staff was very helpful and housekeepers were very nice.

"Great room, close to Times Square"
We were greeted politely by staff, given a choice of rooms and allowed to check into our room early. The room was large, comfortable, soundproof and clean. There was free wifi. The hotel is right off 8th Avenue so we felt confident and safe returning late at night. I would recommend this room to anyone who is going to Times Square or the theaters on Broadway!

"Nice hotel in the center of Manhattan. "
The hotel was all decorated up for Halloween and it was fun being there. We had to switch rooms after one night as an additional person was coming and they let us in our new room very early in the morning. It made it very convenient for us.
