"STYLE and CONVENIENCe"
First of all, the crisp color/ shapes/ style of everything conveys competence: nifty. But most important, the fact that one can walk to the car rentals and to the airport and all the food courts -- the convenience -- makes it wonderful

"Decent hotel, weird little things..."
I stayed at the Four Points in Halifax for almost a week in the middle of October. The staff were friendly, but didn't explain some key details that I thought could have made my stay better. For example, if you decline room service, you get a $5 voucher for every night that you decline. But they don't really explain what/where you can use it. You have to place this placard on your door before 2AM to say you decline, but I don't know if you're declining for the same day or the next day, because I only received room service once in my 5 night stay. Secondly, the elevators in this hotel are the slowest elevators I have ever encountered in any building, anywhere. No word of exaggeration. I can't tell you how much time I spent waiting for the elevators to show up, and I was never the only person waiting, no matter what time it was. That being said, the room was nice and the bed was very comfortable, and I liked the fact that the hotel was central to a lot of things in downtown Halifax. As long as you're not in a rush to get anywhere, and you're fine with a laid back atmosphere, you shouldn't have any reservations about staying here.

"Halifax, harbor vacinity"
Older hotel, located within blocks of the harbor and numerous dining options. Seems to attract a good number of business meetings, but is more than fine for the vacationer.

"Very close to MacKay Bridge. "
Very friendly hotel staff. They assisted with recommendations for food and attractions. The location is awesome to travel across the MacKay bridge to Halifax's boardwalk where you can find a wide variety of fun activities. The room is a basic one bedroom suite with small fridge and microwave which made it affordable.
