Room was not cleaned during the the days i was there. The cold water did not work and shower broke

This motel looked more like long term resident housing. We were given an upstairs room in the messy, unkept building. Check ins after us were given rooms in the nicer more kept building, why? Maybe they didn't book through travelocity. Who knows why. I didn't feel safe there. Room appeared clean but several lights didn't work including the light above the sink which was outside the bathroom. I would never stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Thank God the inside is nicer than the outside. We were concerned. The outside needs updated pretty bad. The inside is much better. We were relieved that it seemed to be remodeled recently. There was no phone, no iron, and no shampoo. The price was cheap though. So, it was ok for a night or two. The property is directly across the street from the fairgrounds. So, if you want a place close to your animals, this is about as close to the barns as you can get. It would be super convenient for that. Note that the beds are doubles. There is a microwave and a mini fridge.

Clean and simple. Stayed two night at Motel M Lewisburg and found it to be clean, decently maintained, and with friendly staff. Very reasonably priced so don't expect luxury, but everything was to satisfaction and I experienced no negative issues of any kind.

Dirty room, in need of repair.

One bed not even made-up. Only sheets lying on top of very badly stained mattress cover. No spread or blanket. Wall had holes in it. Bad tile job. Will never go back.

You get what you pay for.

Pros: Not much
Cons: See comments above about mattress, AC and plumbing.
Location: Louisburg is a great little town with lots of shopping, antiquing and nice restaurants.
This motel is trying to be ressurected from the dead by it's new owners. They are working at it but have a long way to go. The vanity light did not work, tub and toilet drained so slowly that I worried about an overflow. Beds had only barely adequate mattersses. The room was clean and the AC worked adequately, if very noisily, on a 95 degree day. Book somewhere else if you can afford it. The only reason I stayed there was that everything else in town was booked solid due to a horse show at the fairgrounds.
