Nice stay til the end

I had some issues at the end of my stay. I was locked out of my room for not paying but I booked the room til Friday and was told I only had it til Thursday. There was a roach and noisy neighbors. I would stay here again as long as there is clarification on how many days I paid. Definitely had some nasty neighbors but that is out of the hotel control. The night staff was nice enough to let me gather my belongings.

Would not recommend this hotel

Pros: The beds were comfortable, and the front desk staff was very nice.
Cons: We specifically requested a non smoking room. Walking through the halls all we could smell was pot. When I walked into my room if smelled of cigarettes. I immediately called and I was told that "all the rooms are sprayed with freshener and we cant always control what customers do once they are in the room". My mattress was comfortable, but in the morning when the light was better the mattress cover, not the sheets was all stained. It was disgusting. Also we were awaken on Saturday morning at 7am with the sounds of hammering and saws from the constructions guys outside our window doing work on the hotel. When I called about it, I was told "management doesn't always tell us when there are doing repairs, there is nothing I can do" Perhaps going out and telling the workers to start work on a Saturday morning at a more appropriate time would have been a good idea. I requested a refund and the General Manager on duty was absolutely no help. She couldn't event find the number to corporate. There was another staff working there that confirmed the pot smell was overwhelming
Location: Location was great, near hospital as well as not to far from ECU.

Never again!!!!!

Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: Absolutely everything
I will never go back here again. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car. Let's begin with the check in, it's a desk in a room. Not a front desk,,,, a desk in a room. Secondly people hanging out everywhere. From the lobby to the parking lot. Kids were running up and down the hall and ungodly loud neighbors. The cleanliness or lack there of was disgusting. The room looks as if it was prepared by a child. The rooms are severely outdated. I did make friends while i was there,,, the ants. Yes ants in the shower. We would have conversations while I was trying to shower. The maid at the end of the first day cleaned our room for us. Well sort of,,,,, she made the beds. That's it. Nothing more!!!!!!!! If you value your money then don't waste a penny here and sleep in your car. I have never left a bad review on anything in my life. This was truly a horrible experience. People may say why didn't you just change rooms or go somewhere else. Firstly the whole motel is this way. Secondly I don't think I would have gotten very far with the desk/room person. Thirdly there's a sign that says no refund for early check out. So I wasn't about to just hand it over. Beware of this hole!

No Frills, but Clean and Staff is Wonderful!

Pros: Location and cost and the wonderful staff.
Cons: Rooms are a bit run down, baths are "out dated" and very tight.
Location: ECU is the main attraction.
The hotel is clean and adequate for an inexpensive stay in the area. We use it to visit family in the area - the staff is very kind and friendly. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are very "tight", but water pressure and temperature is good.

Prostitution in broad daylight

Pros: Cost
Cons: Management taken from overwhelmed and under-educated staff and given to professionals.
Absolutely the worst hotel ever. Pay the extra $10 and stay anywhere else. 15 year old spotted a prostitute and her john in lobby and escorted to 2nd floor room. Mix of monthly, weekly and nightly is a bad combo. Huge fight in parking lot resulting in a car peel out at 1:30 AM. Really unusually pounding on floor above which was amazingly loud. Avoid at all cost.

Good for the price

My friend and I visited for 2 nights while exploring ECU. Paid $50 a night. Very good price. Bed was really comfy. Staff is nice. As for the negative: the shower head was falling off, although great pressure! The bathroom door didn't closr right, found a tiny brown bug in the bed and small cockroach by AC. But you pay $50 a night, can't really complain about the small issues. Worth the price.

Nice hotel during a terrible time

Pros: Proximity, amenities, and comfort.
Cons: Check out time moved to 12:00 noon.
Location: It is close to all eating places, hospital and the mall. It is right off of the main highway 264 which allows easy access to and from Greenville.
I was in town attending my brother's funeral. The hotel was very clean and in close proximity to the family. The staff was extremely kind and professional! It was very quiet and allowed me the time to rest and think. I plan to stay here many more times in the future when I visit family.

Nice hotel close to the Greenville Medical center

I arrived and they had a room for me as requested. It was an older hotel that needs to be updated but it was acceptable. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the draining of water in the tub when the shower is on. It filed up in the tub and I had to bend down to drain the water manually. Also the commode, did not flush well except when it had liquid only. The bed and the oven and refrigerator were good. Also, the noise level in the evening was good since it appears there were families in many of the rooms.

OK Place to Stay

I stayed at this hotl for 2 nights to attend continuing medical education at the nearby Medical School. The hotel staff were friendly, the room clean and comfortable. Having the fridge, microwave and plates/utensils were all very handy and the Wifi internet was also nice. This hotl is convenient to nearby store/restaurants as well as Pitt Memorial Hospital and the ECH Med. School. I would stay again the next time I visit Greenville on business.
