Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that your preferred room was not available for your stay; our policy clearly states that requested rooms are not guaranteed. In this case, unfortunately, the room has been taken offline for repairs. As you also noted, new management took over the property in May and is in the midst of upgrading and renovating the mansion, which is approaching 200 years of history. Among our upgrades are improved facilities for events and live performances in our parlour room by some of NOLA's most esteemed musicians. As a boutique hotel, we don't consider ourselves a B&B.
