The grounds and landscaping were beautiful. Nice trails, but needed benches along the way to sit and enjoy the views.

Last Minute Choice

Pros: Location and clean and the beds were very comfortable
Cons: Needed some updating
Location: Not far from Cades Cove, beautiful view
I found this location online and reserved the room. It is off the beaten path---the quite side of the smokies. The room was very clean and the desk clerks where wonderful!!! The facility is somewhat dated but was clean.

Booked this cabin last minute. Was very impressed from the start. The Hotel staff called me on my way and asked if I would get there by closing. I told them I was running late and they explained the late check in rules. When I got there, they left the lights on for us and had the hot tub already hot and waiting. Was very impressed with the cabin. King size bed was soft and inviting, and the cabin had everything we could have asked for. Did run into a problem that the entire town was closed past 10 at night and the nearest open store was 30 miles away but that's what you pay for. To get away from all the bustle of tourists and to enjoy the serenity of the Smokey Mountains. We will definitely be coming back to either this cabin or the upgraded cabin at the top of the hill next time. Great job Tremont Resort. You definitely have lifetime customers with our family and friends!!!

Great quick overnight experience

Pros: Close location to the park, and also to restaurants and a grocery store. The hot tub & indoor pool were nice as well as the outdoor pool.
Cons: Nothing immediately comes to mind.
Location: Townsend borders the Great Smoky Mountains NP. There are plenty of things to do without being the tourist trap that is Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge nearby.
My son and I were in the Great Smoky Mountains on a multi-day backpacking trip when equipment failure forced us off the trail. We were able to book this room with no notice and salvaged a great weekend in quite a bit more comfort than we initially had planned.

Mountain moments

Pros: The location
Cons: More trash cans in the room. Add a clock in the room.
Location: The major attraction is the Great Somoky Mountain National Park. The hotel is near the Visitor Center and several restaurants.
Tremont is a good hotel. It is located in the center of town near the Visitors Center and several of the restaurants. It is not far from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The building we stayed in was old but very clean. My only complaint would be that the bathroom was very small. There is a nice patio off of each room where we enjoyed sitting each evening. There are 3 swimming pools which our grandchildren enjoyed 2 of the 3.

Thank you so much for your feedback...that's how we get a lot of our best ideas! Extra wastebaskets and alarm clocks are available upon request from the front desk or housekeeping at any time. By next season we'll have recycling baskets in each room as well. Thanks again, and we hope to have you back sometime soon!

Wonderful place to stay!

The most comfortable beds ever. The room smelled very nice. Pools were great. Loved the cabin feel but was much more. Great views. Best ever.
