Travelocity confirmed my stay, but when I arrived there was no available room. Benedict at the front desk apologized, and called another hotel in the area to secure me a room. This was clearly more than he needed to do, and I really appreciated it. The hotel was very busy, and looked "as advertised"

Amazing balcony views. Wonderful stay!

Pros: The views of the Zugspitz and surrounding peaks were jaw-froppingly beautiful!
Cons: Nothing to improve.
Location: Surrounded by buildings with Bavarian designs on the walls and around Windows. So authentic.
Everything about the Hotel Schatten was perfect. The room, gracious staff, and the Bavarian character of the surrounding neighborhood were simply wonderful! Highly recommended! The hotel has parking but there was no problem parking on the street nearby, at least in early December.
