The person that checked us in told us that the room was quite. That was farther from the truth. It was very noisy in the middle of the night. We were right above the main entrance to the hotel.

We liked Madrid

Pros: Clean, friendly staff and good location.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Location was good, near the large park, metro station and train station, Good breakfast cafe a couple of minutes walk from the cafe.
The hotel was excellent. Very convenient for the metro and train. Most areas could be walked to 15-30 minutes or the metro or train 5 minutes. We would often walk to where we wanted to go and take the metro back in the evening when we had enough walking. Metro was easy to use, very similar to NYC subway and there were people around who were very good at explaining how to buy the tickets. Hotel had a made of city which included metro and rail lines. We were able to take the train to the airport when we left. There are a lot of good restaurants in the area, we opted to eat mostly in the restaurants in the more touristy areas. Hotel staff was very helpful in directions or anything else we needed,

Nice, clean and exelent location

We check in earlier with no problem, room was ready. Staff very nice adn helpfull. Five to ten minutes from down town. We recoment it.
