"Lovely hotel, wonderful location"
We had a wonderful experience staying at this lovely French Quarter hotel. It is clean and well maintained with wonderful amenities including a heated pool in the courtyard. The location is perfect. Close enough to walk to all there is to do in the French Quarter and beyond. But when it comes time to call it a night, the location a few blocks from Bourbon street means you will be sleeping soundly while visitors in hotels closer to the center might not be so lucky. We left on a Friday, which meant we sadly missed out on the crawfish boil being held that afternoon in the courtyard.

"Nice hotel a block off Bourbon Street"
The hotel was very neat and clean and had an older feel to it, so it was a great experience. The staff was great and did an exceptional job with the huge crowds during Mardi Gras.

"Wonderful place to stay"
Great hotel! Hotel staff was amazing, always super friendly with every interaction! The location is great. Half a block away from bourbon street, so close enough to the craziness and action yet far enough to get some quiet sleep at night. Also the location is great for walking to most spots in the French quarter, but if needing to take an uber to like the garden district or even the airport, it's quite inexpensive. The complimentary breakfast (Eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, pastries, toast, cereal, juice, coffee) was really good! The room was a nice size and was cleaned great every day while we were out exploring the city. Overall great stay and experience here, I would highly recommend this hotel!

"Excellent "Annual Girls Weekend" in NOLA"
Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Rooms immaculately clean. Valets were awesome felt as if we were long time friends. My only criticism is that our shower was not working and we were unable to adjust our room temp. and with 3 women with hot flashes it was a little uncomfortable. But otherwise I will always use and recommend this hotel!! Can't wait for our trip next year! See you then :)

"Right in heart of the French Quarter"
This hotel was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were big and clean. We were 1 block away from Bourbon St. The balcony was big and had table and chairs. We had our coffee every morning watching the watching the horse and carriages go by. The staff was very nice. Both Jennifer and Eric were helpful with recommendations on transportation and were to eat. We would definitely go back.

"Great location, great breakfast"
Very nice hotel that couldn't be more central to all the "happenings" in the quarter, yet it is quiet and serene inside. Room as nicely done. Not overly large, but how much time will you spend in your room in NOLA? Very clean, well maintained. All staff from housekeeping to concierge were friendly and gracious. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices all well prepared. I've been to NOLA many many times and stayed in everything from swanky boutique hotels to monster characterless convention places to, frankly, a few dumps so I have some experience of hotels in the city and this is a very good one.

    French Quarter Hotel Guide

Defined by jazz music, Cajun cuisine, and a nonstop party scene, and influenced by a diverse array of cultures, there is simply no other place like New Orleans, Louisiana. Be warned: it will be very hard for you to say goodbye to the Big Easy. In fact, if you're staying at one of the hotels near The French Quarter, you may find yourself looking to extend your stay a day after arriving. Indeed, New Orleans is that special.

    The French Quarter

Dating back to the early 1700s, the French Quarter stands as the city's oldest neighborhood as well as the cultural and social heart. That means you won't have trouble finding something to do. Simply walk around and enjoy the French and Spanish colonial architecture, and sample a bowl of jambalaya along the way. Enter the madness of Bourbon Street, and have some drinks at one of the pubs as you listen to live music. Or chill with a cup of coffee in Jackson Square, and chat with street performers. Yes, this district is magical, and even the hotels in The French Quarter will take you to another time and place. Are you worried all this fun could get expensive? That's not a problem, since you can find cheap flights to New Orleans and cheap hotels in The French Quarter any time of the year.

If you've been living it up in The French Quarter and need a break, go rest in Louis Armstrong Park, a 31-acre slab of green space that celebrates one of jazz's most important musicians; it's a 0.4-mile walk away. The National World War II Museum is only 1.5 miles away via vehicle or streetcar, and it boasts informative displays about life during the Second World War; this site is certainly worth a stop for history buffs.
