When you go to Freeport , places are a ways apart so it's nice if you can rent a car to get around if you want to see everything. This particular Hotel was really nice because it is located on the ocean. It has beachfront. Not all places do. Ocean sea also has several other very nice amenities.

No disponen de expendedores de bebidas ni snacks y los horarios del comedor son muy limitados. Hay que llevar una provista personal porque sino hay que trasladarse en taxi hasta algún mercado ya que están todos distantes del resort

The WiFi is very spotty. Had to ask for clean towels several times after housekeeping picked up the dirty ones, they never left any clean ones. Had to ask several times for the safe to be repaired. When we arrived it had no lock. Every time I went to the desk, the people where very friendly and attentive.

Our Condo at Island Seas was pleasant and clean

Pros: Nice beach, clean accommodations.
Cons: Staff could be friendlier.
Location: Walking on the beach, going to bonfires at night. Also check out the caves at Lucaya National park. Wish the weather was warmer as we did not snorkel
The Grand Bahamas were just beautiful. Beaches are gorgeous with white sand and clear waters. Would return next time in March as January temps were rather cool (high 60's). The food, conch and lobster is incredible and there are many little "shacks" that serve delicious and reasonable lunches and dinners. Just talk to the locals and they will let you know of the great beach bonfire - fish frys on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. There are also some very nice high-end restaurants to enjoy as well.

nice helpful people

Pros: the food, entertainment, and beaches.
Cons: the Wi-Fi was difficult and down often.
Location: Not close to other activities like shopping and other beaches but there was a shuttle to take people anywhere.
I was treated horrible by the airline American ( dont use it) My flight was delayed and I missed my connection to Bahamas. Walked the airport for one hour or more without anyone to help. I asked workers but they just sent me to wrong places. I found the place to get another flight and the line was a football field length. (that is how many people were left due to their incompetence) I had to find a hotel to stay because I could not get a flight until the next day. I finally arrived at the Island hotel and they were so nice. It was perfect. The people helped me because I was so upset. This hotel is so pretty and the food was excellent. Beaches and pool were clean and well maintained. Security guards were everywhere but really were not needed. The entertainment was excellent. A good place for families. It is far from a lot the shopping and other places but there was a shuttle available. Driving around is easy and you can rent a motor scooter.

A three and a half Star with no WiFi and no towels

Pros: Clean, comfy, new
Cons: Next time get me towels and get a useable WiFii.
Location: Port Lucaya shopping, Unexco Scuba diving and a theatre within driving distance.
I got a bargain small suite and they would get 4 stars except: I had no towels for 1 1/2 days and no wifi for the entire stay. The place was clean and met my high standards.

Nice Hotel, great cost, right on the beach

Pros: I liked that it was right on the beach and that they offered a FREE shuttle to the Lucayan Market
Cons: The lobby is not the prettiest and kind of gives a bad first impression, but once you walk outside, the grounds are pretty.
Location: Right on the beach, 5 minute drive to Lucayan Marketplace
I was a little nervous about this stay because of some of the reviews, but I am very glad that I stayed. My husband and I were on a budget, and this fit right into our budget. The resort is right on the beach, and has a beautiful pool. Our room was clean and comfortable and much larger than expected (the kitchen table was dirty,my only complaint). This is a time share resort, so be prepared to be asked to go to a seminar ( we did not go to the seminar.) If you are looking to go to the Bahamas and not spend a fortune, this is the place to go! Very friendly and helpful staff. I read a lot of the reviews before that said the staff was rude and that the food was not good, but this was not true. Kind staff and delicious food and everyone was very accommodating.

Comfortable and enjoyable hotel.

The staff at Island Seas were very accomadating and friendly. Whatever we needed we asked and there was no problem. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Transportation to wherever you wanted to go was easy. If you couldn't take their transport there were drivers who would accomadate you. We met one gentleman name Craig he was a friendly young man who was wonderful. He was available to us whenever we needed him. I truly appreciated his attentiveness. My friends and I will surely be back.
