Close to the beach, airport, places to eat, wanted to hang out, party. The hotel was quiet most of the time. Room was clean. Only downside the service was down for 3days so I didn’t have usage of the television.

The place was very nice. They are doing construction and building new rooms. Not a problem. Grounds are nice and well kept. We had 2 rooms when we checked it. One of our rooms was flooded to a pipe that broke. So they moved us to a 3 bedroom villa across the street. It was nice.

Nice pool. The location is very near to the airport and a short distance away is the main avenue with all restaurant and bars.parking is if you are lucky.

The overall condition of the property was quite good. The staff was very helpful. I didn’t like the fact that there were ants crawling in my room.

If you’re interested in going to a sleazy motel, tropikist would fit the bill. The staff working the dining areas were very nice however the room I was placed in had a moldy smell. Mold was visible on the bathroom shower curtain and on the ceiling in the bathroom near the light fixtures. The curtain rod was rusted and room cleaning services were not done. Room was not cleaned at all for our six day stay. Towels and toilet paper had to be requested. There are no wash cloths, no bathrobes and no bicycles as advertised. The pool closes at 6. The drinks are overpriced and watered down. The bathroom sink did not drain very well, leaving a scum after each use. The WiFi was down for two days and on one of those days the tv was not working. This was just our experience in room 205 of the building located right of the main entrance. You may have a better or worse experience at this “resort” however, if the management payed better attention to the details, then the hotel would qualify as a three star. Currently it is a one star hotel only because of the girls and the guy working in the dining areas.
