Disappointed

Pros: Beautiful property, just expensive.
Cons: They should've given some sort of incentive for the missed time at the pool. i.e., happy hour for the duration of the event at the lobby bar.
Location: Great for relaxation.
They closed down their only pool in lieu of a private function that disturbed our time there. We were there for a short trip and thought we should've been given advance notice. Beach chairs cost $15 pp and aren't included in the hotel service charged to us by the hotel. Parking fees are outrageous. Beautiful property, just expensive.

Very average for a Westin

This hotel is in a great location. However, the extra charges such as the resort fee and paying for chairs on the beach are ridiculous. The morning breakfast buffet was outrageously expensive for an average selection of less than average food. We ended up eating breakfast at Starbucks the rest of the time. The bathroom design is odd and doesn't allow much privacy. One night we had an emergency evacuation which was very chaotic with no communication about what was happening. We stood out in the street with no hotel staff or security to tell us what was happening. We were there during spring break so as we stood on the street we encountered some drunk and aggressive men, late at night while standing there in our pajamas. My daughter was terrified. When we went back to our room we were evacuated again 20 minutes later. I've stayed in Westins before and this was by far the most disappointing

fees

Resort fees 35.00 dollars for no reason and valet parking 40.00 no reason. Tub didnt drain properly feel like you bathing in a puddle.

Fabulous location on beach, great, friendly staff.

Pros: Very friendly staff. Quiet. Comfortable, ample-sized rooms. Elevators that actually came within seconds of button push!
Cons: The only complaint, valet parking at $40/day is robbery. At least offer self-parking (hotel has ample parking space easily accessible to guests).
Will return when beach side cafe is open (now under construction) and IF self-parking is offered.

Just ok not what you expect from a westin

First off 40$ a day for parking there is no choice and they know it. Add another 30 resort fee a day on top of what you pay for.. me and my wife celebrated our year anniversary sleeping in seperate single beds since they had given us no choice all though we specified a king size. Cops visited the hotel 3 times while we were there. The pool is small and bring water they charge u $6 for water inside your room. Otherwise the pool girl judy is the reason i stayed she made my vacation amazing best service if anything she deserves more then 5 stars.

Not what we expected from Westin. Pictures on the internet don't match reality if the room.

July 4th weekend stay

Hotel was great. Bed was comfy and room smelled fresh and clean. Tip: it's better to go outside of the hotel and cross the street to get to beach than to use their skywalk and elevator. The skywalk gets sweltering hot and when you get into elevator on far side, it's like a sauna. The hotel itself was a great experience.

Luxurious hotel by the beach.

Excellent upscale hotel with all the amenities. Very accommodating staff . Spa and a workout facility with all the latest features. Very nice for business meetings. Main restaurant a little pricey for what you get but food is excellent.

Good experience

Pros: The location; easy beach access.
Cons: The hotel restaurant was way over priced!
The staff was polite and when we did have an issue, they were quick to take care of it and offer a solution.
